I mean, there have been countless iconic pairs in Wicked, in all productions around the world. Idina and Kristin were the first, so their chemistry set the tone for the rest, and Cynthia and Ariana are well, Cynthia and Ariana, obviously. But let's not forget there are 20 years' worth of incredibly talented actresses in the Wicked legacy. As several people here have commented, it has generally been known by people for months. Also other interviewers apparently have talked about it. Also lastly, on the IMDb app, they are both listed as part of the cast. I wouldn’t doubt that was part of the plan in the promotion in this interview to let that be known. Kelly did nothing wrong.
