Also, she performed this song once at the BBC (the only time she’ll ever perform it live now) and it just so happened that later that day/night Mac passed away. Breaks my damn heart. I hope he’s resting peacefully.

Ariana’s friends said she didn’t sleep ever because she was so worried about him potentially overdosing while they were on her dangerous woman tour. So heartbreaking. She tried to help him for so many years and then a lot of fans blamed her for his death. She has gone through so much hard shit in her life, especially around that time with the bombing at her concert. 💔

It’s so hard for me to listen to this song. I think she may regret writing this about mac after he passed because when someone you love dies you want to focus on the good memories, not the sad ones. Such a beautiful song though
