I hope Cynthia wins an Oscar for this. She is just so fantastic! ❤ she was so good in Harriet! And she was again sooo good on Broadway in the color purple! And I’m throwing my shoes at the stage for her performance in Wicked! What an honor it is to see her play this role of Elphaba! She not only did it justice but she elevated it in such a real and lovely relatable way! ❤. Ariana I think also deserves an Oscar! I hope they both win! 😊

I just have to say it would be lovely for them both to win but we all know how the Oscar’s are. They never give so much recognition to one movie. But these roles were handled with such care by both Cynthia and Ariana and maybe it’s time to let the stars shine? It would be a great moment in the midst of all this political turmoil. Hollywood is not politics and politics will never be Hollywood! We should celebrate the talent people bring to beloved characters. Let people strive for positive role models and NOT the tyrants who get to escape their crimes. Sorry I digress. There’s a lot going on right now in the world and this movie and these performances mean a great deal to me. ❤
