Agility, transitions, pitching, lower register, not even worth mentioning whistles because thats not fair, but Mariah could transition to whistle register from chest voice which counts towards her being better than Whitney at transitions. Also falsetto, Whitney could barely even do falsetto, really just head voice. Hope that helps since you wanna talk out your ass.

The great thing about this song is Whitney's power fusing perfectly with Mariah's light and airy tones. Ariana and Cynthia did great but it felt like the power and passion needed for Whitney's part was lacking. I find it very Ironic your choice of the term "studio singers" as Mariah (one of maybe 5 Iconic Legends and rightfully the GOAT in many rights) was criticized for that SAME exact thing VERBATIM for at least the first decade to 14 years of her career. The very cis hetero and mostly male "music writers" back then, and to this day, accused her of being a "studio singer" a slightly derogatory term they would use on artists, mostly female pop and R&B singers, like Mariah to imply she is all vocal gymnastics and that most of those "vocal gymnastics" were being done in the studio (in other words she was not that talented vocally it was the studios machines giving her that magical vocal ability.). It was so bad that in 1992 Mariah reluctantly at first agreed to do this new show at the time, called: MTV Un-Plugged. Needless to say she shut up a lot of those critics comments, about her vocal ability at least, and was only the 2nd. artist at that time to actually release her MTV Un-Plugged performance as an actual EP in 1992. No new songs were performed, she had just released her final single, "Can't Let Go" off her sophomore album "Emotions" released in 1991. So, the un-plugged album was all her number ones to that point plus Can't Let Go" (coincidentally her first single that did not make it to number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, it only got to a measly Number 2 lol.) I say all that to say Un-Plugged sold nearly as well as Emotions, with NO NEW SONGS, except the Jackson-5 cover of "I'll Be There" and people still loved it and purchased the CD or tape.
