I don’t think people realize that Ari is usually in very simple, minimal makeup. Especially on the eyes, which explains why the shadows aren’t too dramatic, you NEVER see Ari in super metallic, glittery shadow lol Also explains the packaging, everything is her aesthetic and true to her.

I’m with you on the packaging. It reminds me of the pharmacy eyeshadows my mom would use in the 90s that came with the tiny plastic applicator. Not what I expect from Ariana. The only thing I have to say is that liquid eyeshadow is usually supposed to be applied directly to the eye, rather than your hand, to a brush, to your eye. I believe that explains the pigment problem.

So, something that I love about liquid shadows as a consumer, is that I like to be able to throw them on and go. These liquid shadows really make that possible. I am a medical worker, so I leave at 5:30am and am getting home at 20:30pm. They stay on ALL DAY and they are a little pop of colour that make me feel like I tried in the morning :D

I think sometimes because of how the beauty industry is, we forgot that not everyone wants heavy luxe packaging, sometimes simple is better, and not everyone wants a liquid eyeshadow which is going to be blended with a brush, some people like to just use their finger and have a subtle shimmer rather than full on glam. We forget to appreciate the minimalist side to makeup.

This makeup is perfect for people barely getting into makeup, like a child getting this for christmas. It’s also perfect for people who just want something quick and easy and are much older for all that glam stuff. Her packaging expresses that very well and it also expressed the theme well too and it’s environmentally friendly which is a plus to anybody, idc how many colors you want on a packaging girl save the earth!!!!

I feel like Ariana did a great job! The colors are basic and I can actually wear this to school. If I want to have fun and be bold with the eyeliner or the eyeshadow, I can do it. I feel like you can wear the products anywhere, at school, at your job, at the restaurant.

When I saw the packaging for the first time I had the same thoughts, it does look a bit cheap, but I totally get her vision. It reminded me of the 90s and the early 2000s drugstore make up, especially the lip gloss and the shape of the eyeshadow palette. But when you applied the eyeliner, I was in awe! I can't wait to get my hands on that eyeliner! Thank you for sharing the review and being so honest! Also, congrats to Ari for her new collection! :)

I think I'm okay with it being simplistic and somewhat cheap looking because of how affordable she made the prices. It's definitely cheaper than other celebrity products like rare beauty and Fenty so it makes sense with the price range. The products look cheap but the quality isn't so I'm happy with it.
