In case you didn’t know, the movie is about a doomsday event where a comet is hurling towards earth but people are basically ignoring it. In fact, Ariana’s role is as a popstar whose relationship announcement with Kid Cudi overshadows the news of the comet. I imagine she will perform this song in the movie so people “Just Look Up” (i’m so funny) and see the danger they’re in.

Her voice is definitely lighter than both of those singers but her dyamic is so similar, its very high level and polished, it reminds me so much of Mariah, the belting - head voice - runs and runs back and forth, soooo freaking good!!!

I use to be a little sketchy with Ariana as I always found it hard to understand what she was singing. My main issue was her diction and pronunciation of certain words, it always seem to come across as slurred (no offence) but she has really improved and now she sounds a lot clearer in articulation but is it just me or does her belts sound more fuller now? She's sort of developed a richness to her timbre which gives her an edge.
