When I’m listening to this song I cry. The lyrics is like me talking to myself. I’m in love and whipped for a man who’s toxic for me. I love him so much, but he’s not the right person for me. Im desperate for him and whenever I try I get shot down repeatedly. The only person who I could lean on to is myself. If you think about the lyrics it’s like a message to yourself that you’ll be strong and acceptance.
