I consider "Sweetener", "Thank U, Next" and "Positions" a trilogy bc of how close they released with each other, and I think after releasing so much music within that time, Ari did deserve a break, and we missed her and we're happy she's returned.

@@adrian102yes but the sonic of each album is vaguely similar and they have a cohesive theme of her examining her own romantic relationships, relationship with herself, and image issues + low self esteem. From what we’ve heard of this album, it seems like it’ll be much more of a display of who she is and what she can do rather than just contemplating her issues. Also the shift from edm/pop/trap and now house signals to me that she’ll move in more alternative directions (RnB, jazz, concept albums)

Hearing Ari talk about the distinction between her persona in acting versus music is fascinating. Commonly, actors mention that acting lets them embody different characters, whereas music provides a space to express their true selves, making it a more personal endeavor. Therefore, Ari's revelation that she found her authentic self through acting, as opposed to music, offers an intriguing perspective.

This interview is so interesting because they cant really talk about much without giving away. But I think its so important that we stress that this woman her whole life wanted to be Glinda, and she worked for it her whole life, reminded people hey id love to audition when it happens and now shes doing it in not just a small way in like an iconic equal way. Obviously kristen Chenoweth will always be the icon in the broadway world but when it comes to film it will be Ariana. Its bigger than her and its one of her life purposes and you can see it in the way she dedicated herself and her approach to it. Not in a method actor way, but in a psychological way that shows she had to understand herself to emit a character that wasnt her or ariana the pop singer. She went back to her roots and built back up. As a musician its so hard to go from that pop to broadway or opera and it takes some retraining. So happy for her and im so excited for this movie

Hey there. If you do some Googling, you'd find out there's a LEGAL CLAUSE in her and Dalton's divorce, stating that neither of them, will ever release recordings, information or talk about their divorce. They both agreed, signed it, hence the COMPLETE silence from her AND him, in any interview or anything anywhere ever. As far as I can tell, this clause is binding FOREVER. She CAN'T talk about, even if she wanted to at some point. learnings

I will say, that people don't allow for change in character traits with celebrities (not talking about relationship things, more like the way she articulates herself and presents herself) Maybe she felt like she outgrew the person she was and this is more true to who she feels she is now. We are allowed to change and evolve and grow in the way we communicate and even if what she's saying feels vague and evading. Just because she used to speak a certain way, doesn't mean the core of who she is has changed (I definitely don't articulate my thoughts and feelings the same way I did in my early twenties). Unfortunately a lot of her behaviors remain consistent, maybe starting with the way she communicates is the first step towards self reflection on a deeper level. But maybe she's just used to enunciating more due to her role in wicked and needing to sound crisp and clear and its translated into her speaking voice even now after filming.

I'm just done and tired with my friends calling me a homewrecker supporter, I need proof that she isn't, do you know how painful it is to be called a homewrecker supporter? Im a fan since Victorious, flew to the US to attend her Dangerous woman tour even for her Sweetener, got all her perfumes and even gave them as gifts for my friends. They even told me they're just gonna throw their homewrecker fagrance away. I'm from a country where adultery is a criminal offence and immoral homewreckering is a crime. Please don't delete. I'm hoping her PR team can read this and she'll able to redeem herself. Thank you.❤❤

@@Empower-uv6ctI don't think it's your responsibility to defend Ari....lots of artist's have fans that have done something society doesn't approve of. But I can understand if it's a personal struggle for you if people are attacking you for something an artist you like did. It puts you in a very unfair situation I think, and you don't deserve that and you didn't choose that. The best outcome would be if your friends all ended up liking her new album enough to let up on you though. ❤❤

@@MegaJAK77 my friends are making fun of me because they say I'm supporting a homewrecker... and you expect me not to say anything because its not my responsibility? I'm a fan. it is my responsibility. Thats your opinion, and I don't agree with it, but I respect you as my fellow human being. I'm from a country where Adultery is a crime. there's no way they're going to love her music knowing she's a homewrecker with a toxic pattern with taken men. That's why the only way is the truth. Thank you for your time. I'll see you around. please dont delete I'm still hoping they'll see this request.

@@Empower-uv6ct Hey, I'm really sorry your friends are being toxic. Honest to god, your friends sound like they kind of suck. As you get older, these are the type of people who talk shit about others behind their backs and don't know how to think for themselves. You are better off without them. Much love ❤

Zach HURRY WERE STARVING
@aglovecraft10 ай бұрын
Ariana seemed to be sugar coating all her answers here and Zach seems to be holding back from asking honest questions perhaps being afraid of hurting their relationship. This makes the interview sound pretty forced and unnatural. I understand the need for them to do this though because the media will skew anything she says.

they made the mistake of addressing a controversy with sabrina carpenter when she was last on the show. sabrina has not gone on the show since then, so they don’t want to make that same mistake with other artists like ariana

@@tyrus7526 but she did addressed it and it was bad. I'm a fan, I used to love her so much so I never believed the tabloids, it's this interview that made me lose my respect for her. no one owes the public explanation, about anything but if I was being so "misunderstood" and the story wasn't everyone thought and "It was hurting the people I care about" I'd speak up and set the stories straight. makes it seem like the real story doesn't make her sound great and that's why she isn't speaking on it.💔

It's not so much about the media scewing what she says it's about her knowing she has no explanation, nothing to fix peoples perception of her, no excuse. So bringing it up won't do anything for her .

It's so inspiring hearing about the ACTUAL WORK she put into her Wicked audition, not just assuming she was good enough already. We could all learn from that humility.
