Her Christmas EP is all r&b (written mostly by her within a week!) and it's amazing + she confirmed moonlight (her upcoming album) is all r&b (I also love that genre so I'm happy) other than Focus as we know is very generic pop. Thing is, sadly pop is what sells most.

The power and the amount of riffs she sings here is one of the reasons she caught my eye. When she sang years ago, she sang insane riffs so flawlessly all the time and I was always always hoping someone would make a compilation video of it (like with Give it Up and her various covers) but I never ever saw one. She was probably the first person I ever heard sing riffs and make me notice that they exist. She blew my world and still does. I am okay with there not being a riff video, bc this exists now. She's definitely still got it (obviously) and its just such an amazing feeling watching this video and seeing her go back to her theater roots and sing all these incredible riffs and runs and show off how amazing she is with a sweater and a simple microphone. I am so eager to see/experience a live performance from Ariana. I have been wanting to for years now. I've seen almost every live performance online of hers. When the Honeymoon Tour started out I would check for dates for Australia, then to find out by the end of the year she wasn't coming. Was a shame, would have been my first concert too. She's such a smart, talented girl and her vocals are outstanding. I really hope you come to Australia again soon for your next album Ari. Hopefully you didn't get put off.
