Yes it’s more difficult but once you wear the wheels down a lot it becomes much easier!

@@Skating_Squid Haha, no problem. Yeah, I am out in Western Maryland, really close to Hagerstown. Not too many great places to skate out here, I always drive into downtown Frederick or go further to trails, like the W&OD trail or if I want to go even further, some of the lake trails/rail trails out near Columbia and D.C. haha. I currently only have been skating for several months, and am using a 3x110 fitness setup, though I would really like to look into getting another pair, possibly with a 4x90 or 4x80 setup so I have the smaller wheel option. Or maybe just another 3x110 since I love that size so much. XD

@@elofkjellson3906 Dang thats dope tho, I might have to go do an exploring video at that trail someday. My favorite is 4x80 flat but I have some 3x110 and they're a lot of fun. You could just get another set of frames and wheels instead of entire skates, might be a little cheaper but is kinda a hassle to switch all the time.

@@Skating_Squid Yeah, that is definitely true haha. The boots I have aren't too good though, they use a quick-lace system which does not get all that tight honestly haha. I would not mind having a different skate with a better, more comfortable boot and a proper lacing system so it can get tighter haha. I'd definitely love to see some exploring videos of those trails! The W&OD is pretty straight and easy, but it is very smooth the whole way through, and very scenic! Also, some portions are extremely long, gentle downhills where rolling is just EFFORTLESS, especially on big wheels haha. I have gotten going soooo fast on parts of that trail! I look forward to watching more of your videos now that I have found another skating channel!

Can you make a video on transitioning from one foot in front to the other when going backwards? i feel alot of ppl including myself really struggle with this and there's 0 videos on youtube that touch on this subject. I can fluently ride backwards and do some decent crossovers with both feet in front, but when it comes to this transition from one feet in front to the other (same with switching my view to my other shoulder) i struggle and it just feels realy sketchy.

These are the original Seba fr1 skates with 80mm flat wheels, unfortunately the do not make them anymore and the closest thing to them are the new fr1 skates!🦑🦑

It's been a long time since I lived in the DC area, but crime was actually worse in the late 80s and 90s during crack epidemic, yet this suberban Maryland mall was safe enough. It's looks to be more of a DEAD mall, than a DANGEROUS one. Unless your friends are sketchy types or like to loiter and hang in around the dark or less populated parts of the mall complex.
