Dang brother, sorry to hear this. It is definitely a challenge trying to forge a new future of traveling, but I hope these fools that we elect will wake up and make our cities safe for us bikers. I’m addicted to this video. Bigteedo your commentary, blended with the info you deliver is the best. I visit my grown offspring in MD often and told them I was going to start bringing my Juiced Rip Current up with me to ride some trails. Your vids are a huge insight into where I should ride and what to expect. Thanks bro and do keep them coming. The big streaming companies are sleeping on you - you should have a series.

I'm ordering a kepler for myself soon, because fuck paying for gas, repairs, and insurance. The more people that switch over to ebike commuting, the more cities and towns will be pressured to build proper bike infrastructure. Amazing to see how you manage to gracefully weave through an environment literally built against you (with a much longer commute than me); inspiring stuff right here. I live/work in a city with good bike infrastructure, but my college is in a suburb with multi-lane streets and high speed limits, so it's comforting to see the possibilities you present in this awesome video.

Commenting here as I am watching.. I did a ride to work one day.. 16 miles round trip. What a pain in the...! No bike lanes and heavy traffic. A couple areas I used were residential and not many cars. So much junk on the side of the roads to worry about .. Had to ride on grass off the street too. 😂 But I did the trip taking only 10 minutes longer each way. Just so much road construction making it more difficult here now.

Hey In your other vids you were having some brake issues, It sounds like air in the system an easy fix is squeeze the brake lever as much as you need to engage the calipers and then put some tape/ rubber band on it to hold that position over night, this bleads the air out..hope this helps

Lol... Honking for the cars to go. Bro look like you flying. That assist ain't playing. Hopefully you got a helmet on bro with them crazy winds, but it's definitely giving us the full experience. You good with the PO PO as long as you using your signals. Oh man.. hell no! I'd have to find a different route dude. It's a good thing you filmed this commute guy. More like this should be made. There's some dangers out there mainly because a lot of automobile drivers have no idea of a bikers right to maintain the same lanes when there are no biker lanes as long as they utilize their signals and respect traffic lights and stop sign just as an automobile driver should. But I gotta say, I couldn't do it. Am I the only one imagining a week commuting to and from the job this way??? It was crazy! And dude, on dark mornings?? It's definitely a challenge.

If you’re still using the same charge as before, it will take twice as long to change 40 amps vs only 20. I would recommend finding a new one that puts out more (maybe 8 or more) amps of power.

Badass riding. I do an EUC for lots of my riding, but 40 miles is hardcore. 10 I wouldn’t even think about, but 40 is significant. I live over in Fairfax, and I’m that unicorn out there. I was walking the dog earlier and saw a guy on an eskate going 20-25 and I clapped and told him to get it. I don’t replace a car, but I minimize. My wife and I have two cars, and if one breaks, I can totally see not replacing one. I have one EUC and one ebike that are pretty water resistant, and a train 2 miles away that gets me into DC when I have to. And a fast EUC if it’s dry I can do 20 miles like it’s nothing. The Kepler is what I tell people to go to for fast, cheap and low effort. EUC is fun, but you have to want to learn it. Anybody can ride a Kepler. And they should, driving individually is poor form if you can do it on a PEV.
@bigteedo_ev4905
@bigteedo_ev4905 Жыл бұрын
Thanks! What is the name of the ebike you own just curious? And how fast is your fastest EUC? Where I live I have never seen a EUC closest to it I've seen are the one wheel which I know are different. Those EUC are really cool 😎
@Nemonurwingy
@Nemonurwingy Жыл бұрын
@@bigteedo_ev4905 My ebike is just an Engwe EP-2 Pro. It’s ok, but not like a Kepler. My fast EUC is a Begode EXN Torque which will go 40 (it doesn’t have a specific limit, it’s about hitting a usage threshold and it warns you to back off or risk crashing, it starts around 40 and slowly drops as the charge goes down. It has a little less than 3 times the battery of a Kepler.) It’s typical to not see EUC riders, there aren’t many. I have never seen another one in person, though my wife saw some guy in this general area, so there’s at least one more around Fairfax.

Crazy ride but pretty nice when the infrastructure was bike friendly. Honestly Ebikes can replace cars however it means that you'd be taking a much greater risk getting around. Until the infrastructure allows for absolute safe riding that is when we will see less cars and more PEVs on the road.

@kevinnashskitchen3517

@@BullzOfSteel oh .. All ebikes that have full front fenders you need to watch sharp fast turns that you don't have your feet placed to far forward on the pedals. And any bike going fast around turns will scrape the pedals if they are down low in a sharp turn. You just keep them a bit up higher going into turns..

Anything else is on the AR, that includes grabbing food from the fast food spots, going to the pharmacy, grocery store, my corner arab store, and I ride 24 miles roundtrip to work every time weather permits. As far as the charger, mine did the same thing, and gets very hot. Much hotter than my other battery chargers for the 2 additional AR batteries and my kaabo wolf warrior scooter charger. I get scared when it's charging so long and so hot. I don't want my crib going up in smoke. I'm thinking about starting to charge it in my detached shed. I don't care so much if that burns down, I'll just have to get more yard equipment 😁. Keep doing your gangsta gorilla riding brah

Bigteedo, I finally received my Ariel rider Kepler and I am very disappointed with the Ariel Rider company. The wait was excruciating to say the least. I like the bike itself, but I am not happy with the fact that the chain would not seat in any gear without popping when I received it. The front brake had a lot of roll to it when squeezed and there was a crazy squeal at the front wheel when I rode it trying to seat the chain. My issue was so much so that I took my bike to a bike shop and had thenm do work on the bike to make it rideable. After pick the bike up and doing a test ride , the chain is still jumping off the front chain ring in the 7 th gear. Ariel Rider claim to do quality control and proper working checks before they send a bike out to the customer, it is really disappointing to have to deal with this after spending $1700. It is frustrating that people do not do the jobs that they claim.

Man Teedo I hope you don't do this everyday. The streets are dangerous. My battery did the same thing I would check on it and the light was alternate from red to green and was red for the longest time. I let it charge overnight and it was solid green in morning. I went out and man I went like 7 miles and barely used any battery.

If you have to drive in the lane with cars be sure to take up the full lane and stand your ground in the middle of the lane, some of these fools will try to pass you if you are not taking the full lane and it will cause you to crash one day. Stay safe.

Hey man, I really like your bar end mirrors. I've seen them on Amazon as a replacement for my bar ends which are getting a little long in the tooth. Do they fold in or up? I live in an apartment and need foldable or fold up mirrors if possible.

is the Kepler faster than the x-class? cause man this video sure makes it seem that way lol
@gmanhad
@gmanhad 2 жыл бұрын
It has all the same internals. The Kepler can get a little more out of it because those 26 inch wheels don't need as much rpm to do the speed the x class does. So the x class has to use all the power to spin smaller tires to get to 34, 35, or 36, where as the Kepler gets there with power to spare. I hope that makes sense, I'm not sure if I quite explained it thoroughly enough.

hey yo mr throttle only, what kind of rabbits do you have down thayr? that they "comin at you"? ;) like the vicious type, pretending to be cute then go all serial killer, or they dont mess around..with small talk and b@#$hit, they just come at you lay cards down on the table and tell you how it is..? bc i was going to be taking a trip down tharr, and want to be prepared for the worst ya know, and not beguiled by wolves in sheeps clothing, or rabbits in ppl clothing...so holla this my first time seeing vid, and love it, espec how you dont hesitate in traffic or be too cute or careful, bc thats more dangerous, you have to be even erratic if necessarrty to be safe, seriously, a motorccyle rider of 30 years told me, he was in a slide accident, but not stealing 2cd base ya know what i mean. and he said he prefers to be a little erratic bc it keeps car drivers on their toes and PAYING ATTENTION TO YOU..if you are too robotic on the road, it lulls the drivers to a false sense of securtiy and they forget about you and thats when the fun ends
