Well Adam, I enjoyed that, I felt as though I was riding with you. I'm 62 years and have been riding dirt bikes since I was 11( learnt on a Vespa scooter) I still love riding off road. As for what bike challenge, well just ride anything, you and Grabbo are very good at it. I have watched all of your Motology films. Keep them coming.

I like your idea very much! But here are my ideas to compare and to learn for all of us: 1. Compare CR250 2007 with first CRf250r modell 2004-2008 and newest from '19! And, I like to see new piston/clutch, rebuild silencer and well done fresh suspension for the '07 CR. New tires, bar and perfect needles is way to standard as a racer?! Fine tuning on 2-stroke is important to slow down lap times! More than on EFI tractors... ;-) 2. Otherwise I read RM-z is slowest of '19 250 4-strokes. Easy to ride but in meaning of racing slow... 3. Use KTM's. They still develop the 2stokes! SXf250 from 2019/2007 and SX same year! 4. lap times in a 20 minute race!

I bought an 07 cr250 as my first brand new bike from the dealer, I rode it for about 4 years and loved it! All my friends got out of bikes and moved away etc so I sold it, ended up getting exactly what I paid for it. Now I ride an rmx450 and missed two strokes so much and the way you ride them I did a ground up build on a 99 cr80 big wheel, awesome having a 2 stroke you can actually ride at its limit. I would like to say I could ride a 250 or even a 125 near the limit but I would be lying.

I'd love to see an XR400 take on a DRZ400 on that track with two accomplished riders. These two bikes have cult status and although production stopped on the XRs years ago the DRZ has not undergone any development in the same time so one could mount a strong argument it would be a fair race. Many DRZ riders these days were once rusted-on old XR diehards and often question the sanity of Honda in their discussion to kill off the XR. And they are probably well justified to do so considering the significant sales Suzuki still make annually with the DRZ, and all with a bike that is essentially very old technology. Please, please do it, the vid would go viral I reckon.
