I’m putting a twin on mine I got for free mowers mint motor sucks lmao but it’s all simple … To turn blades off when they stick on (common ) theee is a brake on the deck right side sitting on mower , remove it won’t happen again . And these motors are on most tractors his size year … they all have valve adjustment issues set both to 4000th and seasonally you’ll be fine .

Please can you tell what that small lever on right side below steering near blade height stick is for ?
@KensSmallEngineRepair Жыл бұрын
That is the parking brake lever. You depress the Left side pedal and pull that lever up and over to set the parking brake. Depress the pedal again and move the lever cup , over and down and the brakes will release. Hope this helps and thanks for watching!

My mower looks identical. Engine is B&S #31C7073346. I called my local B&S dealer and they said the 594593 carb does not show to be compatible to my engine. The one they do recommend they think is a Nikki and over $100. Uggggg.
@KensSmallEngineRepair7 ай бұрын
I use the 594593 in those engines it works great although it is around $110. I stay clear of the Nikki carbs. There are supposed 594593 Chinesium carbs on Amazonian for $20 but I’ve never tried one
