To answer Aries questions. 1: That's not God's plan, that's a result from the evilness of the world unfortunately. My mom passed of cancer, that the government is killing us, God could of healed, but she wasn't, am I going to say that's particularly God's plan NO I'm not, certain decision we do make in life can effect our lives, ex how we eat, if we workout or not, keeping up with test on our health, trying to stay stress free. I'm more spiritual than religious but I do love by principles that would SHOULD live by. God is definitely real you have to seek him with your whole heart and build that relationship and you'll see. That doesn't mean we won't go through anything which we will but he will bring us through. Remember when people pray God knows the true intent of that person's heart we don't. We see them asking for prayer but how truly dedicated are they too God. I don't know everything as none of us will truly know. Gerard is deep! This conversation is deep! And I can understand where Aries is coming from in terms of seeing all of the bad that happens and wondering "where is God?" But if God is God, then He has to reign over the just and the unjust. We hate to see bad things occur, but how often are good things happening that we just ignore or take for granted? In the whole scheme of things, good outweighs bad. We just focus on the bad and then wonder why God allows bad. But Gerard is talking about perspective. If there was never a car accident, there'd be no stop signs. Sometimes "bad" things advance our society. Thus, good can come from bad. And when someone says, "it's God's plan" this is what they mean. Just because you can't see the good immediately, you have to have faith that good can come from bad.

Here's the thing with Atheist. The common logic they use to describe why they believe God doesn't exist is that "he's sees things happening on Earth and allows them to happen." God or whatever you interpret it is a spiritual omnipotent presence. He isn't some ruler that runs to every prayer to figure out the problems that's being bestowed upon humanity. At least not directly anyway. Humanity is often given the keys or answers to said solutions. For some it maybe harder to conclude because it's not direct, you're usually given pieces to put together yourself. You just don't pray, and except a result to fall in your lap. I don't think it works that way.

Scientist don't really have it, and science is based on limited knowledge. Things happen, we as a society just grow and learn. When people pray they often expect to have an immediate result. But they don't take into consideration that what you want means that you have to walk down a road with some twist and turns. It's not easy and nothing is if you're trying survive in this life. Meaning that they're knowledge of how the universe works is limited. The bible contradicts itself because it's written from someone's else's ideology of God. The way I put things in retrospect, ultimately culminates to me having this belief that the shit I went through is apart of the experience of being on earth. You will have to overcome challenges and obstacles to get where you want (aka the process) You're not going to have a clear way to victory. You will take L's like everyone else. Jesus didn't create Hell his Father did. Hell was not created for humans, it was created for the Fallen Angels who started a war in the Heavens. God decided not to make a separate Hell for humans. Since you hate him like the demons, you get thrown in the same pit with the demons. One of the worse parts of being in Hell is the Demons, they do nothing, but torture souls. They torture the condemned souls in the most gruesome ways imaginable and the souls feel every bit of the pain for all of eternity. The demons disembowel, decapitate and make souls whole again, just to kill them again.... forever. This is the punishment only a God can create, so why not obey such a Good and avoid an eternity of suffering❓We only get one chance, it's too late to serve God when we are dead. All the prayers in the world can't help a soul that is in Hell.

I'm a Christian and totally agree with Aries, we should ask God questions, I do all the time. But once I repented of my sin, made a real decision to change and acted on it, my life changed exponentially for the better and I see God's favour in my life everyday. If any of you are struggling, my advice is pray and ask God directly. Read the Bible - His word. The Bible says "if you seek Me you will find Me". If you are sincere and humble, God will answer you I guarantee it, may just not be according to your timeleine. Be blessed everyone. PS. Aries has the best Shaq impression ever, love this dude!

In my mind, Aries conflict all come from thinking of “God” as a person... which is what we been trained to think of “Him” as.... a person with the same morals & goals as us? This omnipresent all-knowing “being”/force that controls all things, thats in all of us but everything really a part of it..... why would “He” look or think like us? Why would “He” even have a physical appearance at all, other than our human need to personify & visualize something that knows about & is all things existing & all things yet to come for eternity? Everything Aries described, is literally the curses placed upon God's chosen people. God wants to follow God's commandments, laws, and customs. It is free will for us to not follow, but then we would be subjected to this world. If we want God to lift these curses, then we need to follow the God's laws. We are not black, we are hebrews.
