I like the WNBA Game because they play fundamentally better basketball. Today’s NBA is trash because all they do and shoot a bunch of threes and play no defense and travel down there every time they touch the ball. What happened to the days of Magic, bird, Dominique Wilkins, Isaiah, Isaiah, Thomas, Dr. J, Kareem, Abdul-Jabbar, Hakeem Olajuwon, Michael Jordan, Penny Hardaway these out of players I grew up watching and today’s game can’t compare. I have followed the women’s game almost since it’s inception. I remember Cheryl Miller, the Magee twins , coach, Mulkey in the 80s and the 90s the Tennessee, Connecticut rivalry . A lot of these games were sellouts. I remember when the WNBA first started with the Houston comets winning fourth straight championships before sold out crowds and in today’s game, the South Carolina, LSU, Iowa rivalries are great. I think the WNBA has a marketing problem, not a product problem.
