That’s crazy and they end up getting off with that excuse with a pass and go get help. At the end of the day, we all sin. There’s no big sin and little sin. A sin is a sin. If you look for growth and try to do right, that counts for something. Does it exempt you from what you did no. But it shows that you have some humanity by trying to fix and make up for your wrongs. We are not God so just trying to crucify someone for being human is crazy

Stop blaming fans for knowing so much about the shit lil durk did and treating it like " SportsCenter". if you rap about the crimes you do in your raps fans has the right to talk about it. when hip hop is constantly promoting and creating a culture of rappers who brag and glorify the crimes they do, fans being desensitized towards it is not only not on them, but the rappers and labels who pushes and promotes the culture should be the ones who are held responsible for fans treating cases like Durk's as "SportsCenter" also can we stop with the " we can't tell someone how to grieve" schtick? Joe hit the nail right on the head when he came in with his opinion at the end. These guys create the conditions for their situations and then want clemency and support when they are held accountable for their actions. I would also say that given how influential and ingrained rap music is in black culture and how it sets the pace for what societal norms are in our community, many of the rappers exacerbate the violence and tension that exists in the streets, so there should be accountability on for that also. They didn't create the violence, but they sure are amplifying it, akin to throwing gasoline on a fire.

Leave it to hip hop media to empathize with gang culture and criticize other content creators for monetizing from it. FOCUS ON THE PROBLEM! Without these new skinny jeans street dudes putting all of their crimes all over the Internet, the content creators you are biased towards wouldn't have any of the information that they are monetizing from. The panel saying "prayers for Durk" without any condolences to victims families is exactly why I can care less about the "fake woke" complaining about what other communities think about us. People shouldn't talk about it in the name of content or act like he shouldn't grieve because he has money, but let's go right ahead and talk about it in the name of content and say that once you get to a certain financial situation that you need to react differently. The lack of self-awareness to be calling people Poindexters for discussing this shit 20 seconds after your entire panel was just discussing it is wild. Orrr, and hear me out on this one, perhaps we shouldn't still be involved with street shit long after we have no reason to be, perhaps we shouldn't brag about being friends with a serial killer turned rapper, and perhaps we shouldn't be orchestrating a murder for hire plot. At the end of the day, most people from this environment have trauma from their past. That doesn't mean that it's necessary to continue to live that life. Some of these kids CHOOSE to remain in that element. When's the last time you heard about Chief Keef, Jay-Z, Joe Budden, etc get caught up in some shit like this? Some people progress in life after making it and unfortunately, others refuse to do so and end up living the same life but with more money. The only person to blame is the person opening their mouth about it to get people talking. This is why PR is important in business of what to say and what not to say

Nah bruh…… Kodak is NOT a representative of all of Broward County. Broward county has 1,300 square miles of 31 cities. Every state, county and city has a ‘hood section… Broward county as a whole is NOT the hood.
