Actually most singers in India are classical singers, who sing Bollywood songs too. There are very few pop singers. Arijit himself is a classically trained singer. He has trained in classical music for many many years.

I kind of got a feeling that they put on an act and this track was recorded beforehand....nothing bad with that, it just felt, he was off sync a few times...and his expressions were really dramatic that doesn't really go hand in hand with a performance of that precision mostly.

@@god1770 This was his Live Vocal dude. Let me tell you one thing about Arijit... Arijit Singh never does lip sync, no matter how bad he sounds but he always prefer Live, otherwise he simply rejects the show. looks like you haven't seen his live performances before, He always sings in this dramatic way, he connects with the audience through his eyes. You can clearly see his voice cracked few times, the harkatein he is taking. this wasn't a perfect performance, he would have done far more better if it had been a lip sync. One more thing You can never find Sonu Nigam, Shreya Ghoshal or Arijit singh's lip sync video, because They have never done lip sync. They are classically trained singers, they don't need it.

Who told you that his career is ruined you remember before few years there was a time when suddenly Arijit Singh songs stopped to get released..... Everyone thought he has quitted Bollywood and is not singing songs anymore or his demand is no more.....but yet again after one or two years came back with a full wave of songs and the same aura the same grandeur he told he has taken a break from music he was busy doing live shows MTV tour and that's why he was not releasing any songs maybe it's something like that and now the pandemic situation is going on so movies are going flop so he is singing solo songs where he has started his own KZbin channel it doesn't mean his career is ruined maybe he has taken break like earlier 😊😊coz Arijit is Arijit 💓

You should interview Arijit - he is very shy and very much a reserved guy, but if you get the chance, you should try and get him to sit with you. Just like you did with A R Rahman in LA. Popularity and Arijit are not related.. as in.. he is a musician at core. He has popularity because he is a good artist. He doesnt seek it. Pop culture is totally opposite of this. In pop you have to be aware of you popularity. And take decisions according to it. He is a trained classical singer and worked on his vocals with utmost honesty(you can listen to arijit in his 'fame gurkul' performances to get an idea) who eventually got into this music and he is contributing in a very thought full manner. If you listen to the renditions of all these songs they sound so different yet not against the intent of the original song. To achieve this one needs a vision and talent ofcourse. Ed sheeran is i guess less mature than Arijit in terms of musicality and artistry. No offence. He is doing great in what he does. I love his songs. But this is a different level. Popularity is a measure of nothing if things has to be this deep and beautiful at the same time.
