@@bugginout3169 I hope Caitlin Clark's popularity can bring exposure to the truly professional WNBA basketball players like these two ladies. Up until now, the WNBA has been a side note in the sports world. At the same time, it seems the unprofessional WNBA players are also being exposed. @kikibreeze8257 I am just stating facts. No hate involved. The hate I see is the contempt the WNBA demonstrates for straight white people. I went to a MN Lynx game this year. I never felt so out of place in my life. It was LGBTQ everywhere. Basketball seemed like a side note. I will never go to a Lynx game again. Not because I hate them, which I don't. But because they show so much hate towards straight white males like myself.

Congrats to Arike, but for me she was too selfish. It was the ALL Star game, and in the second half with her hardly sharing at all, no one knows if other players would have scored the same points or simply win either way. You can be hot, but also in assisting and sharing the game, making it an ALL STAR game. Dayum, the shots she missed were wild, obviously displaying grand selfishness.
@MalnourishedGoat3 ай бұрын
@@markuse3472 Oh, well that's a hot take. There are NBA Stars who have scored 50 points or more in an NBA All Star game. I didn't feel the way you feel about Arike when I was watching the game, I was just psyched. I'm a CC fan, CC's the one who got me into watching the WNBA, but she wasn't hitting her 3's that night, and Team WNBA really wanted to win. Arike got hot in the 3rd and started making big shots, and a lot of them. It was a competitive game and if someone gets hot, you feed the ball to them so that your team can win. Tbh, it would be selfish if any of the other women felt any kind of way about Arike scoring so many points. When you're part of a team, even an All Star team, your goal is to win in whatever way gets you there. You can't delegate shots in an "everyone gets a chance," way, or else no one will be taking the initiative to shoot.

The players were all still standing around because Miller had been no help whatsoever, so the players proceeded to coach themselves. Ogunbo lit it up with the points, great job, but I thought Cheryl Miller was the real star. She set the tempo and kept it moving all the way. Got kind of sloppy at the end, but Miller's coaching was the clear game winner. ❤

Arika was fn awesome I was lucky to catch the second half, and oh man I saw her go off and she was a bad ass, and the way they talk and present themselves was class, love it. I will be watching more Arika along with Caitlin!

As of last year, the only name I knew was Brittney Griner, and it was not because of basketball. This year, I know Caitlin, Angel, Aja, Kelsey, Kamilla, Taurasi, Plum, Boston, Chennedy 😒, Arike, Coper and I'm learning more names as weeks go by. And it's all because of Caitlin Clark.

💯Arike balled out. That step back 3 on the side was crazy. It's nice to see the game evolve so much to that WNBA players doing things with shooting I don't remember seeing in the NBA coming up.
