@@bugginout3169 I hope Caitlin Clark's popularity can bring exposure to the truly professional WNBA basketball players like these two ladies. Up until now, the WNBA has been a side note in the sports world. At the same time, it seems the unprofessional WNBA players are also being exposed. Those players may lose popularity as a result of their jealousy. Aja, for one, seemingly cannot accept Caitlin Clark's popularity and that may not bode well for her as time goes on.

@kikibreeze8257 I am just stating facts. No hate involved. The hate I see is the contempt the WNBA demonstrates for straight white people. I went to a MN Lynx game this year. I never felt so out of place in my life. It was LGBTQ everywhere. Basketball seemed like a side note. I will never go to a Lynx game again. Not because I hate them, which I don't. But because they show so much hate towards straight white males like myself.

Congrats to Arike, but for me she was too selfish. It was the ALL Star game, and in the second half with her hardly sharing at all, no one knows if other players would have scored the same points or simply win either way. You can be hot, but also in assisting and sharing the game, making it an ALL STAR game. Dayum, the shots she missed were wild, obviously displaying grand selfishness.
@MalnourishedGoat
@MalnourishedGoat 3 ай бұрын
@@markuse3472 Oh, well that's a hot take. There are NBA Stars who have scored 50 points or more in an NBA All Star game. I didn't feel the way you feel about Arike when I was watching the game, I was just psyched. I'm a CC fan, CC's the one who got me into watching the WNBA, but she wasn't hitting her 3's that night, and Team WNBA really wanted to win. Arike got hot in the 3rd and started making big shots, and a lot of them. It was a competitive game and if someone gets hot, you feed the ball to them so that your team can win. Tbh, it would be selfish if any of the other women felt any kind of way about Arike scoring so many points. When you're part of a team, even an All Star team, your goal is to win in whatever way gets you there. You can't delegate shots in an "everyone gets a chance," way, or else no one will be taking the initiative to shoot.

@@michaelleonardo881 You gotta be kidding. Did you watch the game? At one point, 'Coach' Miller told her players that she didn't know what she was doing, but she was having fun. An assistant coach had to step in and actually coach the players. Another time, 'Coach Miller' had finished talking with the players, then she went away. The players were all still standing around because Miller had been no help whatsoever, so the players proceeded to coach themselves. Miller is getting all these accolades, and she is NOT qualified to coach. They are probably pushing to give her the Fever job because they would love to replace a white woman with a black one.

This is not unusual, America is a land of immigrants. That's why people excel there, they not boxed into camps like in Africa, they are 100% Americans. Their parents might have been born in Nigeria but it doesn't make them less American. They behave American, sound American.

CC may have introduced me to the W. But I am beginning to get into this sport. ARIKA just wow on your performance. Team USA may have experience, but team W has energy and youth and in the end, team USA looked tired in the second half of the all star game. I dont think enough attention is paid to how great K Mitchell is. Opponents seem to forget her alot and boom, She reminds everyone every game how amazing she is.
