You’re not wrong dude. Shin in Japanese means “true” as in true potential or power. Ryu, If you notice is wearing a white gi, not black. This looks like if Ryu uses the Mu No Ken (power of nothingness) instead of Satsui no Hado (killing intent).

I remember the difference in quality being why I never really adopted mugen. Finding the perfect set of balanced fighters was always a chore. Ken's particle effects randomly changed in one round from fire to white, I assume that was an install but otherwise it seemed like the animator didn't remember what particles to use for Ken's animations. Also Ken's super's tended to vary compared to Ryu's.

Seeing all the added moves was amazing. Seeing things like the teleport. Seans take down special be a whole special move and seeing the hints of inspiration from multiple games it's beautiful man favorite thing of all though was the fight narrative the match had. Like how in round four it became a projectile battle cause ryu was starting to dominate with in range chip into heavy combo damage.
