Hon Ugochinyere submitting your recommendation about the 6 years term for the president and other requirements on the bill that failed should be submitted to the constitution review committee to begin with but you wanted to jump the gun and take the credit if it had passed. One thing I will have to commend the PDP members in Imo State for is the fact that they remain to pull their efforts together to serve the people of Imo state even though they are not the ruling party in the state. That is part of what will benefit the opposition party during any elections in the state and not sitting on the fence till you win election to govern the state. Elected PDP members in the State deserves to be commended for all the achievements read out in this presentation. If the party was acting the same way on the National level then they stand a chance in 2027. Effective opposition is not based on criticism alone but performance recognized by the electorates. Perhaps the entire PDP membership in the Southeast may need to re-evaluate the party and ally themselves with the rest members across the country rather than sectional presentation that might come to hurt the party in elections. For Ugochinyere to be effective in his vocal sentiments about the party he should seek to be present in any gatherings of the party and appearing to be sectional. The names calling that he is doing pointing finger to the leaders of the party is completely in effective. Political parties always have founding members whose ideologies may be very different, parties are meant to grow to meet up with challenges. The challenges facing the country today are very much different from what the founding members of the PDP were faced with. The house rep whose talking about the founding members of the party is only citing what he read about them, therefore when he he is pointing fingers at the elders of the party he must be very mindful of his utterances. They party will have a hard time coping with the challenges ahead for the 2027 general election if they continue in this sectional manner. There should be dignity and respect within the members of the party.

Defection is an action done out of volition. The people involved said they didn't defect, and I don't know if Ugochinyere wants to force them to defect. If this man is truly defending the constitution of our dear country, why hasn't he talk about the defections going on in the house of rep and senate house .
