With ur comment, we now know it is Agofure and Peace Mass Transit you are used to travelling with cos if you are used to flying you will know that Aircrafts have weight limits and that can only be determined after passengers must have checked in their travel luggages. If their luggae weight is heavier than the weight the plane can carry, they will bring it with another flight so they don't crash. Its there in your ticket T&C. This can also only be determined b4 take off. There is no way the airline would have informed passengers prior, as u ignorantly claimed. I hope you have learned dis one, so u can go educate ur fellow Agofure and Apara line passengers.

If such rules exist, the airlines have to inform the customers upfront before they booked the tickets, this is common sense and logical , and not to announce at the time of departure when people may have already packed things in their luggage and not in their carry on bags which they may need to use for whatever reason the day they arrive their destinations. You claimed to know the aviation industry more than me, and you found no logic in my initial question?

The key thing to find out is WHEN they told them about the luggage . . Was it before or after check in. You can't tell someone something after the fact and expect them to be compliant. If you told them before check in them they can make up thier mind wether or not they want to fly.

There is an approximate number of weight an aircraft can carry, if the general luggage has been exceeded, not all bags will make it.

People don't know that aviation is different from road transport. Aviation has 70%, authority over passenger. pacenger has 30%. You don't argue a captain on his or her decision on a pacenger or bag. He can come and point out some pacengers to step down the flight because of over weight or baggage to be removed. That's a legal authority for Captain. Is all about safety. And the law made it an automatic order for police to arrest you and punish you for arguing the caption.

If you paid for a travel arrangements, the terms should be kept. Nobody should be treated more different the others. Rules of engagement should be kept by both parties. The airline should Explain before boarding that baggage may not arrive alongside the flight than when on board, you announce that baggage above 20kg will arrive in a different flight ✈️?? WHY?
