Sowore has always been fearless, dogged and confident. He fought cultism at the University of Lagos as SUG President leading to the cultists injecting him with lead. He was rushed to LUTH and God saved his life through the intervention of the medical personnel. The SUG threatened LUTH Management to burn down the hospital if Sowore died. They had to do everything possible to save his life and God helped them to do so. Sowore has been consistently dogged and fearless right from his days as a student. So what we see him do today is not new to those of us who knew him back then at Unilag. What do you expect from “ęni tó ti kúrí”? To save Nigeria from this present hopelessness, we need people like Sowore who are not afraid to die. Only leaders who are ready to sacrifice all or prepared to pay the ultimate price like Sowore can salvage a country deeply rooted in corruption like Nigeria.
