This is one of the poorest performance by the erudite Seun Okinbaloye. This in my opinion should not be tagged an interview rather just a show-face arrangement they had with Wike. - I don’t agree that interviewing a man that is in the eye of the storm in Rivers state should be simply to only listen to him without fact checking whatever he is saying. Apparently Wike prepared to play an ethnic card on this interview and Seun annoyingly just looked away when he knows clearly about this divisive tactics by Nigeria politicians. After this interview, I foresee a more intense tribal dimension to the war in Rivers and Seun is the cause of this. - How can Seun allow an interviewee to make several allegations about other people on live TV without any serious caution? Surely, he was a bit careful with Wike. I can imagine if it were some other less ‘’assertive’ politicians, he would have asked for them to either be careful or withdraw their statements. Serious it’s a whole waste of time and I believe Channels can do better job if they really want to play their role as the fourth estate of the realm, that can help to foster peace in a very polarised Nigeria space. Rather I see this interview just as an intention to increase the number of KZbin viewers - too bad.
