But how do you get accurate data of black market and illegal activities and transactions?

Can you imagine? One country exporting more than a whole continent of over 50 countries 🤦🏾♂️😂 When someone said we must move from consumption to production, they said: “na statistics we go chop”. People have no idea what it will take for Nigeria to become a true booming economy. We are not working hard at all. If Nigeria becomes a productive country, I think many will flee to go to a country where they can relax small small 😂 You must work before you chop.

Anyone can say we must move from consumption to production. But PO business and action are all about importation and consumption. As governor, he built the only industry for alcohol consumption, a brewery. PO's entire business is about importing goods for his shopping malls. The Nigerian and SE (Igbo) business model is about importing into Nigeria for consumption. What do we produce for export?

@ I don’t care who said it. If Tinubu would have said it, I would have to agree with him (even though I don’t like him). It’s simple math… If you spend more than you make, you will be in trouble. If you import more than you export, you will also be in trouble. It’s not rocket science, bro. If PO is good at importing business, let him do that. There will always be importing of goods in every country. But, if PO was in a position of power and he makes it difficult, hinders, or directly competes with those who are producing, then that is something I can never agree with. You seem to have a problem with people from SE alone. I can tell you how many businesses are producing and exporting, but I won’t do your homework for you. The issue is, nobody in the country is producing and exporting AT SCALE. Look at how big China is, and they are producing enough to cover their whole country and still have some left to export to THE WORLD (not just Asia). Let that sink in.

@@sulaak That is literally a biased argument. Onitsha market was a good production hub back in the days, including Kano state was very good in textiles and cotton or leather based materials and goods. Many other tribes usually travel down to Kano to buy goods and sell at different locations. The cost of production has increased drastically due to lack of electricity, lack of good roads, etc. Thus making it cheaper to import from China. USA is a good producer, but most of their imports are from China, which is even double what Nigeria imports from china. Poor management and bad governance (leaders and followers alike) has taken Nigeria backward. My university supervisor, did his IT at Kano state, and he boards the train from Ibadan to Kano state. This is 2024, where is the train from Ibadan to Kano state?

@@sampidia I am not biased about the truth, Igbo people always claim that 70% of all cargos at Lagos ports are owned by Igbo merchants. Since it’s has been confirmed that majority of shipping leaves Nigeria with no cargo, then we can deduce that Igbo are responsible for 70% of Nigeria imports or consumption culture.

It's natural, the Chinese build air planes, automobiles, TV, laptop, cell phones, drones, robotics, solar panels, batteries...almost everything.
