Why are people who do not want to see a great Nigeria happy with the crisis in the labour party? When Arabenbe and Apapa supported Abumere's led shambolic executive, I knew some recruitments have been made and concluded presumably but soonest, the chaffs will be separated from the wheats. Evil can never last. This is a labor party that went into oblivion after Mimiko left them and Dan Iwuanyanwu worked to bring it alive but couldn't do much and it died again until Peter Obi joined it to fulfill his presidential ambition and boom, labour party became the third largest political party in Nigeria and now some charlatants want to reap where they didn't sow. Interestingly, if this story is true, the victim and the accused have both committed crimes. The alleged victim would have been attempting to commit the crime of illegally obtaining petroleum products from the NNPC. So, no court will assist him in recovering the money he allegedly lost to the accused. Thinking of it this way: you try to hire an assassin who turns out to be a fraud. Your conspiracy to commit murder is a crime. The assassin just gets an additional count of fraud. That shows you how normal such financial crimes are in this country - it's not a case of greed or gullibility if true - it'll be a case of just committing a normalised crime by both. The EFCC should ask that the money be forfeited to the Federal Government.
