Same. I knew Kyuss and was a big grunge fan but this gig changed my life. I was more curious because of Josh’s kyuss background. Also Dave was amazing on drums. I think Rhcp headlined there too that year.

@@berthaschwarze6704 It was Joey Castillo on drums but Nick Oliveri was still in the band. I didn't even know who Mark was until my friend told me he used to be in Screaming trees. I hadn't been much of a music fan until about 2000 so i was still learning about bands.

Never realized what a super cool front man Lanegan was until recently. The way he just stands there; totally bad-ass. He never really grabbed my attention back in the day, mostly because the Trees didn’t do it for me; but I see now why he had such a giant reputation. He was a legit artist who knew what he was doing and treated the craft of singing and writing with dignity and respect. RIP - a few days later / I keep watching this / it’s one of the most epic rock and roll live recordings I’ve ever seen / in my top 12 anyway. The power of the band - and Lanegan just standing there feeling it - wow. My favourite QUOTSA line up on stage. Props to Joey Castillo tho
