Sir i have a doubt in mtp series II (Q3) b) partnership sum , in which they have only asked to calculate and show the profits of all partners, and they haven't mentioned to open any account But in the suggested answer the have opened account, What should i do in the exam should i open account? Or Should i just calculate the answer when they haven't mentioned to open any account?

Goods are dispatched to customer but is not recorded in books .. so entry for sales have to be recorded , which is not recorded . Therefore the correct entry will be recording the sales entry only . If rectification is done in the next accounting period , instead of crediting sales it is credited to pl adjustment ac

If they ask you receipt and payment account in the question , and the opening cash balance is given , that means closing balance of cash is missing and it is the balancing figure when you prepare receipt and payment account and it will go to the closing balance sheet If you are preparing receipt and payment account and closing cash is given , then the opening cash is missing figure , which will be the balancing figure when you prepare the receipt and payment account . And this will go to opening balance sheet

Sir I have dout in JLP What to do of it appears in. balance sheet If it appears in adjustment as surender value

In case of retirement If JLP appears for example in balance sheet at 20,000 and it is surrendered at 25000 Then 5000 will be shared between partners If it isn't appearing in balance sheet , then 25000 will be shared between partners
