This year feels like 2014 all over again in some ways for my 49ers: years of deep playoff runs but falling short of a Lombardi culminating in a year where injuries, aging players, and questionable coaching cause us to blow leads every game and make silly mistakes that makes us miss the playoffs.

I can't believe the 49ers let go of defensive coordinator Steven Bernard Wilks. From being one of the top defensive units in the league to now struggling at the bottom, it's a tough pill to swallow. Wilks had been a key factor in maintaining the team's strong defensive identity. I hope the team can find a way to bounce back quickly, but it's frustrating seeing such a drop in performance. 🤬😡😢

Seems like niners just can’t catch a break, the fact the kicker got hurt is just absurd, then the fumble at the end. At this point even with a 10 point lead in the 4th isn’t even a relief since they can’t close games

Your biggest weakness was the Cardinals. 0 points in the 2nd half. You think that was by accident? Our reg kicker was hurt. You don't get that blocked punt for a touchdown; this game would've been a blowout. Next weekend on the road in Green-bey, watch what AZ do to this team.

It feels like if one player has a great game someone else has to stink. Aiyuk’s best game has Jennings mess up, Mason’s been so good but that fumble ruined it, and special teams gets a touchdown so the defense forgot to tackle. If everyone is on point at once we could beat anybody, but who knows when that’ll happen?

A tough team win, and as a Cardinals fan, the sky is the limit. We REALISTICALLY can win the division. Now 2-0 vs the NFC West, SF is 0-2 vs the NFC West. SEA is 0-2 vs the NFC. We played the Lions/Bills already, SF/SEA still have to play them. Washington was just a bad day at the office. Green Bay is a must-win, just in case if we don't win the division, since MIN/DET will win the North (head-to-head tiebreaker): GO CARDS!
