Thanks for all that you do. My mother-in-law is a nurse here in the East Valley (AZ) and she said covid has been so crazy lately that they’re running out of room. I hope things ease up for everyone soon and please stay safe! ♥️

Covid is on the rise here (Uk), I’m shielding again. I get my 2nd vaccine injection tonight. I really miss work (I’m an ophthalmic technician, I do patients eye scans and visual fields). I’m shielding due to being type1 diabetic with asthma and on methotrexate for RA. I do need to lose 40+ lbs but it’s so cold here and I just snuggle on the couch, the UK is in lockdown. I should do some home exercise vids and do some intermittent fasting too. I’m on an insulin pump (Type1 for 47 years). I love how straightforward and caring you are on your videos. It’s great to hear about your day to day life. Xx hugs xx

Haha! I hear you with the being cold and snuggling- When I was in Baltimore, it was cold (only 40 degrees, but for a Florida girl used to 90-100 degrees, I was COLD!)- so all I did was snuggle up and eat- and gained 15lbs! Thanks for watching and commenting- I love to hear about what's going on near you as well. Stay safe and healthy xo

I do really love your headbands! And your hair is so cute! I live in a tiny Illinois town (4,000) where very few wear masks and continue to go to the local restaurant to dine indoors in defiance of state mandates. Local Covid deniers are making this a political statement rather than treating this as a public health issue. Our county had the 7th highest death rate from Covid in our state. I do not go anywhere without my mask! And I do mean anywhere. You have painted a vivid picture of the reality of this disease. I wish everyone could watch your videos and hear the struggles nurses are facing day in and day out. At 69, I work part time, my office was on the 1a list for vaccination distribution and my best belated Christmas present was receiving my first dose of the Moderna vaccine. I had no side effects, which was wonderful. I too look forward to the second dose. Here’s to people accepting modern public health recommendations and an end to this Pandemic. Enjoy Mt. Lemmons and the Sonoran desert. My niece lives in Tucson and loves hiking. There are wonderful things to see.

Thanks! I got them from Amazon!! That must be so frustrating being in a town when you're the only one following precautions- that's how I feel whenever I go back to Florida. So happy to hear you got your vaccine! Tucson is a really great place. So many things to see and do that also include social distancing :)

Hi Alyssa,glad your doing ok,it has to be hard working with so many Covid patients. I have several family members who have had or have it now. My nephew and his wife have it now because they couldn't miss the Rose Bowl!! If people would take this seriously we would not still be dealing with it..should have been gone long ago. My new years resolution is to lose 15 pounds and to get up off my lazy butt and be more active!! Love watching your videos,enjoy the Arizona weather..it is only in the 2o's in northern Indiana. ❄🌨🌞
@AlyssaGray3 жыл бұрын
Hi Judy! Oh no, I hope that your family members are okay! Ha! so we pretty much have the same new years resolution. The thought of working out is not appealing to me, but once I'm doing it, it's not so bad. I gained about 15lbs in Baltimore so really just trying to lose that. Thanks for watching and commenting:)

Hi Alyssa ,watching from British Columbia,Canada. We are still in lockdown up until February 5th ( at least ) .our Covid numbers remain high in this province.Many many nursing homes and scattered hospitals continue to have outbreaks.Keep yourself active n healthy any way you can. That includes your mental health.
@AlyssaGray3 жыл бұрын
Do you feel like covid is being handled well in Canada? I'm definitely trying to stay active and healthy- and taking lots of vitamins each day. I almost panic if I miss a vitamin dose as if it will make me get covid D: I hope that you stay safe and healthy xo

@@AlyssaGray ,Ummmm Canada has a Prime Minister who believes the science. Our country as a whole has 79,000 active cases.and 17,224 deaths so far. I’m in British Columbia and we have done not bad. Certainly over the holidays cases have skyrocketed across the country. Hubs n I are awaiting our vaccinations as they become available. 😷

Glad to find you. So, it's Arizona now. All health workers received vaccinations? Stay safe, Alyssa.
@AlyssaGray3 жыл бұрын
Happy you found me! All of the healthcare workers that would like to receive the vaccine are allowed to, but it's not mandatory. Some of the healthcare workers here were extremely weary of the vaccine at first, but now that a lot of us have gotten it and haven't had any issues, the weary ones are scheduling their appointments :)

So I’m a teacher. We are virtual because our county is on red but everyone is complaining because the students are just leaving our district to go to in person schooling. Reducing covid is becoming less important because if we lose more students we might have teacher lay offs. That would be crazy if they ran out of propofol

You're a teacher!! My hero! Thanks for teaching in this pandemic! I know it must be hard and scary. You're amazing for doing what you do though, forreal. We're running out of drugs daily, but getting restocks every few days so it's give and take D:

@AlyssaGray3 жыл бұрын
Hi Brandon, it depends on the person's preference. I will discuss it more in my next video but it's not mandatory by any means, some people choose to based on their circumstances and some people don't. Hope this helps:)
