I'll admit I have rallied Perkinsville Rd a few times in a few different vehicles over the years, all in officially condoned or emergency situations of course, and the road was much rockier. I've been stuck in town rebuilding my 6x6 bus for a few years so it was great to see your awesomely shot video. Felt like I was there at times. I ascended the hill that you started descending at 7:00 in a 1979 Chevy C70 utility truck with a crane on it, in February. The snow has built up so much on the inside of the road that it was off camber ice, and I didn't realize it until I was on it, wheel turned full lock to the driver's side, front bumper facing the mountain, and rear wheels spinning 66moh(on the governor) flinging slush, mud and rocks straight off the cliff, all the way to the big cut at the top! I miss that truck so much, but don't miss two wheel drive!

I have always had it on the list of places I have to return and explore, and now I have even more reasons to do so. With every one of your recent videos I become more convinced that the tiny adventure bike might be for me. You have so much fun on your rides with the little Honda and I like the way you have it rigged out. I have the same primary ride as you, but I have been looking for a smaller adventure motorcycle for all the normal old man reasons. How often do you wish you had your Husqvarna on some of these rides? Or is the Honda just easier and more fun?

So happy to see another lil bike, big adventure video! Arizona looks so interesting. I have holidays booked in March and was hoping to get away from the Canadian winter and see the grand canyon and the south west with my own eyes. Given the recent change in administration in the US, I'm a lil worried about making the trip. As an Arizona resident, do you feel it would be reasonably safe for a trans woman to travel alone in the region? I know enough to realize government policy is not necessarily a reflection of the average person but it makes me realize how unwanted I am in some places. 😢 It's a lil scary and very sad. I just want some sunshine ❤😂 Can't wait for more of these! Your van/bike setup is the stuff of dreams for me!
@SterlingNorenАй бұрын
I would like to say that I hope it is safe for you and that you have a great time. You know better than I do how people can be. I hope that you do come down here and visit.
@lonely_trans_girlАй бұрын
@SterlingNoren I hope so too! I believe I know how Canadian people are. Never had the slightest issue riding around and exploring here. I'm willing to believe the US would be no different. It's not individuals that scare me, it's groups government and laws. But if I do a shakedown this spring in my car, I can sleep in it if I feel uncomfortable. A positive experience will calm my anxiety, I'm sure! There are so many cool places to visit in the USA that my curiosity will likely overcome my caution. Either way, I feel at the end of the day, even a negative experience is better than not having one at all! So I think to see these places in person is definitely worth the slight risk of running into a truckload of dudebros in attempting. ❤️
