HLAA is a great organization. I have attended meetings for quite some time and have learned a lot. HLAA gives a sense of support from the variety of people and professionals that attend meetings. I do believe that the organization has suffered a bit due to the pandemic and the reduced attendance and availability of in person events and activities. While participating in a 5 K walk is not something I am physically able to participate in, i believe that the event bring visibility and awareness of the community . Good to know that practitioners are willing to support the organization by being speakers at local meetings. I know my audiologist, Scot Frink of Salem Audiology Clinic, has presented for his local HLAA group and is open to presenting to other groups that i attend. It is a worthwhile organization and deserves support.

Dr. Cliff, I'm glad your team attended the HLAA walk4hearing. I would love to join and will donate to a worthy cause. I'm a bimodal cochlear recipient, and it has changed my life. I've learned a lot from you and HLAA. Thank you for sharing this video and for continuing to make great videos. I look forward to watching them every day.

Our walk was should be on Nov 3rd, but, Florida Walk for Hearing is declay until May 5th 2025 because we had Hurricane Miltion came to Tampa. All the parks in Tampa wont be ready when our walk start in Nov. I am volunteer to help Walk for Hearing and reopen the group again. They closed Tampa group because many people didnt come to meetings. They had to closed it. I am planning to reopen Tampa HLAA group again.
