We need to discuss how aps is taking advantage of the people here in Arizona. I make $115k and I cannot afford the electricity bill when it is $350+ a month. I turn off the electricity all day and my ac is set at 85 until 7pm. I can only imagine how straining it is for those who are on benefits or don’t have the ability to work. It is truly a shame on our representatives to allow a rate hike with aps and to charge such exorbitant fees for a basic utility. Especially when srp is cheaper than aps by 35-40%. Aps has blood on their hands.

Air conditioners are too costly for most elderly people especially if they're on fixed incomes normally for you to get any help in the state of Arizona you have to make less than $1,500 a month I know some of these people only make $800 a month AC cost approximately 6,000 or more repairs on an AC is ridiculous

i remember my cousins moved to az from MI back in the 70's, i visited and they said the a/c went out while they were at work for the day and came home to all the photo albulms melted, no pics were spared, 2 cats dead, all the candles were melted right in ther place, one ruining a table. I have never heard of such a thing and thought MI might be a better place to live, still here
