It was. Some of it was "type 2 fun" - miserable in the moment but rewarding when it's done. But the natural beauty of the desert in that area made the it well worth it.

It is possible that my lack of skill makes this look harder than it is. 😝But the sand sections were definitely rough.

Thanks for watching and glad you enjoyed it! Definitely agree that this is not a route to be ridden solo due to the remoteness, harsh climate and border-related hazards.

Those two could have snatched your bikes. I hope you were both armed. Be safe. Man on left was trying to cover his face and looks like the hombre on the right was giving you the bird.

Why were they reluctant to give you gas? They can't spare a few gallons even if you offer to pay?
