Nice run. Used to run our buggies across the desert back in the day. Looks a lot nicer with those smaller vari-drive cars. I need to try it in one of those this winter. Have a grand time.

Me and some people are planning to do the full trail for the first time soon and wondering what are the most important things to take with us
@ChupacabraOffroad5 жыл бұрын
Collectively you will need tools, spare parts and tow straps for most situations, you get pretty far from the highway and/ or help. Because a lot of the northern sections are rocky and slower speed, I thinks its hard to do more that 150 miles in one day, if anyone has a problem, and you lose and hour or two, it makes it tough to get done before dark. Everyone should have a spare tire, and a big enough cooler for food and water for a long day. A First aid kit isn't a bad idea, and of course radio communications and at least 2 guys that really know the GPS/ trail leaders to keep everyone going in the right direction, there are some turns and sections we got turned around in. I hope this helps, have fun!

Is there an entrance to the the trail from Parker, by Bluewater Casino ?
@ChupacabraOffroad4 жыл бұрын
The AZ Peace Trail doesn't go into Parker, the closest would be Bouse or Lake Havasu. I started/ ended halfway between Parker/ Havasu in Havasu Springs. You can start your ride at Bluewater but you'll take some other trails to get on the route: arizonapeacetrail.org/

There's a lot of people with SxS's that offroad a TON in your area. We might be doing this ride again, but it's part of a group that invited me. I would join "AZ Can Am" and "AZ RZR" Facebook groups, there are people planning rides all the time. We might create a ride later this year, or next, just need to create the time and planning to make it happen. The AZ Peace Trail website is great and easy to plan to ride this area.
