The Washington back country discovery route or BDR is one of the most amazing things I have done offroad. My Toyota was the first vehicle on much of this trail in 2022 and being on this trail early made it absolutely brutal.
This was 10 days and 600 miles of unbelievable views, dangerous snow drifts and epic overland adventure!
Huge thanks to Powerstop Brakes and OnX offroad for making this trip possible!

First off, thank you for watching these videos, folks. I love telling these stories through video and without your support, making videos about my adventures would be impossible. Second, think about the last time you saw a youtuber force the marketing director to fix trails and cut hundreds of trees for 10 days lol. It's rare to have companies that actually want to be a part of the car community in this way. Jake is a savage, and I couldn't have made this video without him and Powerstop Brake. When it's time to replace or upgrade your brakes, support the companies that support our ability to make content. Choose Power Stop because they are among the highest quality in the industry and choose Powerstop because they support creative ideas like a 10 day Back country stewardship mission 👊. Trail fairies, or trail pixies, as we in Finland like to call guys who open winter trails for fat biking and mountain biking. You are definitely that, in a scale a step larger. As a fellow off roader, motorcyclist and mountain biker from thousands of miles away, you are awesome. Even if I don't ever get to drive that trail, thank you! And thanks for the episode!

I grew up in the Gifford Pincho National Forest. When I was a teenager this was what we did on the weekends. 4 or 5 of us would load up and head up to the high lakes by Mt. Adams and Mt. St. Helens clearing the roads as we went. The nostalgia of watching this is overwhelming.

I feel you bro we use to do this all the time but in Colorado, it feels like your getting first tracks in the wilderness haha. All those sketchy times snow wheeling are nostalgic for sure but things could have gone crazy south from the amount of dumb shit we tried to drive in the middle of no where (anything to find/get to the spot) so I lowkey get anxious lol, at least these guys got a plan. Its good to see other people going hard out there tho.

Absolutely (insert expletive here) epic, Nate. I just don't have the words... I'm jealous of you and the life you are able to protray on KZbin. And the fact that it's captured on video so you can enjoy it years from now, to ensure the memory of it doesn't fade, is epic in it's own right. My hat off to you and the guys you went with. And while I'll probably never see the trails you were on, I thank you on behalf of anyone who does those trails, for the hard work you guys did clearing them. I worked drilling rigs for SEDCO and Precision Drilling for 10 years in northern BC, Alberta, Sask...A suggestion, get yourself some chains (and bungy strap them tight) when you get into extended snow / mud / steep inclines / declines/ side steep roads... Its incredible how much traction/grip you will get - just gives you added safety. Chains make your truck unstoppable. Amazing video guys, respect your adventurous spirit - not many people that would take on a mostly unknown challenge like this.

Thanks for bringing us along with you... the camera work and editing were excellent. We don't get trails like that here in the UK, so I enjoyed watching your off-roading...!

Nice job you all did on this trip. Quite an adventure. I live in Ellensburg and have been spoiled over the years with close access to these mountain roads. Great country we live in that has public access to such beauty.
