Videos like this are the reason this sacred place has been commercialized and over run with tourists. This has been my favorite place for decades and thanks to social media i cant even get a reservation for the past 5+ years

I've got 52 hikes into the Grand Canyon. This area I've hiked about 10 times...starting in the early 70s. Floods over the years changed it appearance greatly. The stair step pools were all but wiped out. Moony pool looks so different and Havasupai pool is unrecognizable. It sure has become commercial...but it's still an amazing place.

We went there twice in the 80s. We paid our fees in the village. Tons of fun. Many many pics and videos.
