I am sure you are aware, but Hot Springs suffered massive devastation from Helene. Most of the town has been destroyed due to flooding. My grandmother lives there and it is awful!

Is this video about repacking wheel bearings or loading a grease gun. And just to be clear, that is NOT repacking wheel bearings that is just squirting grease into the hub.
@charlesb42678 күн бұрын
Uh yes, if only repacking a wheel bearing hub assembly was that easy on a trailer application. If the rear hub seal is holding then no new grease will go into the inner hub bearing but "may" push a little into the outer bearing. However if the seal is not holding perfectly then grease already in the hub will push past the seal puking grease down onto the back side of the lower brake shoe area and very possibly end up getting onto the brake linking/surface of the drum and if that happens then braking performance goes down the toilet. Of course one will not have a clue if the grease did get past the seal as its impossible to see unless the hub was pulled to see the after effects. Of course attempting to grease a wheel hub this way gives you zero idea as to what condition the bearings are actually in or the end play of the wheel bearing setup. And one wonders why there are as many trailer wheel hub failures as there are on the road .... or wait, I may have an answer !.

Tubed down on a full moon, then met up with a second group and repeated it during the day. Started tubing in the late 70’s. So different now. So commercial during tubing season. Probably better that the buses weren’t running nice and quiet.

Just when I thought i had seen the dumbest thing possible, a video like this comes along. As an ASE certified technician and a welder, everything about this video is wrong on so many levels. Just welding the crack in the frame is like putting a Band-Aid on a brain tumor. Never spray anything in the hub. Hubs must be removed once a year or 12 thousand miles. Bearings should be cleaned and repacked. What you are doing makes your trailer a danger to you and everyone else on the highway. You got lucky this time. Whatever prayers you say, keep it up because they're working. It is difficult to get correct RV maintenance information from KZbin. So much info is wrong.
@ProjectRVLivingLost29 күн бұрын
Firstly, we are not RV experts and don’t claim to be. We learn as we go. Secondly, we only show what problems we have run into in real time so if we make a mistake we are not afraid to admit it. Thirdly, we came to realize that was the wrong advice from the technician about the bearings being properly lubricated (we state that in a later video). We repacked our bearings shortly after that. Sorry if you are offended by us figuring it out as we go 🤷♂️

Hi guys! We truly enjoyed your video! We lived in Big Bear for 31 years. Raised our kids there, worked there and played there. You almost made us miss it 😂 You’re gonna laugh because now our home base Lake Havasu, Az which is just about 45 minutes from Parker so we get it when you said it was hot 🥵 We moved out here in 2019 and haven’t looked back. My husband Stan was President of the Village Merchants Association back in the early 90’s and was an integral part of making the village into what it is today. We enjoyed your video and all the great info you share! Keep up the good work! ~ Rhonda and Stan

"One big metrpolis area". Hmmmm, no. This entire MSA is just the PHX MSA, but...The Valley (of The Sun) does have it's areas, and the East Valley was always the "cooler" side: Camelback, Arcadia, Scottsdale, ASU/Tempe, Spring training, then further east the the Supersition Mtns, and rock climbing in the McDowell's, the sandstone mtns and zoo at Papago Park. In north scottsdale Taliesen West, the Wrigley Mansion, Old Town Scottsdale. Past N Scottsdale youll gwt to some prwtty cool boulders and Mike Jordan and Sir Charles. Paradise Valley...Mike Phelps.. Westside? I never spwnt any time on rhe Westside, but ive heard....Well, there is much, much more to see and do here now from sports, complexes, cool towns, lotsa MLB Spring Training complexes....half of mlb is scattered around southern florida, and rhe other 15 train entirely in the Valley! None in Ticson...not going to fight this effing keyboard any longer wff it!!!!!!!!!!

Looks beautiful but it seems California has ALOT of rules and permits. Be safe and have fun!
@pmurphy12667Ай бұрын
no different than any other state for camping. Just did Utah, Idaho, Montana and Wyoming, all the same rules regarding camp fires when fire restrictions are in place and 14 day limit for dispersed camping. What rules are you referring too that that are more specific? If you are referring to RV parks that's an individual right to have whatever rules they want, not a california thing or rule. Have you been to California in an RV or camping just curious
@shawnbeerens4292Ай бұрын
@pmurphy12667 I have not been west of the Mississippi. I was referring more to the inspection of the paddle board and then a permit to get into the lakes after the paddle board inspection. Just different than where I'm from
@ProjectRVLivingLostАй бұрын
I think this is actually a local Big Bear permit- can’t really speak to the rest of CA, bc we haven’t paddled anywhere else. It is definitely the most expensive permit we have bought (especially since it’s just for that lake and not a whole state). We needed a permit in Oregon too, but at least it was for the whole state.
