It was a real treat when this video popped up in my feed before going to bed last night. I hope you and your family have a great adventure on the AZT. Looking forward to following you on your hike. The Border Patrol aerostat is part of TARS (the Tethered Aerostat Radar System). The BP figures there used to be 8500 low level flights per year bringing in drugs back in the 80s. Not any more. There's an aerostat southwest of my home here outside of Deming. Happy Trails.
