Being a vet is a great career! I forgot which one of you said you wished you had a warmer sleeping bag. It’s not the bag, it’s that you need a nice warm air pad on top of the foammie. That makes a huge difference! Hope you all come back again one day to do the PCT again second time. Congrats on your triple crown! You all made an amazing team and I really enjoyed your videos.

I've really missed you since you finished the PCT. I can't wait for you to once again start making videos again. The Arizona Trail is wonderful, and I'm so happy to hear about the CDT as well. I just hope I live long enough to watch your wonderful future videos. Ha-Ha!!!!! On trail education is way beyond the standard crappy education system America now offers. Real life scenarios, the world class people on trail, all provide educational benefits never seen or heard of in a classroom. Home schooling is certainly the way to go in this day and age. Thank You for answering all these many topics, I really enjoyed your answers. Mom, you, and your four boys, God willing, will successfully finish your latest trail adventures. I need to get up to speed on Instagram, so I can better follow The Field Trip Crew. May you be blessed with good weather and trail conditions during your next trail adventures. Wise decision to hold off on editing and posting your videos until you accomplish your goal! Can't wait to see them...but it will give me adventurous evenings in the fall virtually hiking with you! Congratulations on the At and PCT. We are excited that you are continuing to go for the triple crown with the addition of the Arizona Trail and CDT. On the subject of veterinary school, my daughter, (a fellow New Hampshire resident) attended the University of Vermont for an animal science degree. UVM also had agreements with other schools (Tufts, University of Glasgow, University of Edinburgh and other schools) for early entry for grad school. She spent three years at UVM and then 5 years at the University of Glasgow. She is now a practicing veterinarian in upstate New York and loves it. Before my daughter went to vet school, she volunteered at the Humane Society, attended vet camp at Tufts (Worcester, MA), and worked as a vet assistant at a local veterinary practice while in school. I so enjoyed this chat about your experiences and reflections and where you’re going next! I’ve been following your progress on the Arizona trail on Instagram and was wondering why there wasn’t videos; thanks for clearing that up! My best friend is a veterinarian and now a veterinarian professor as well. She said Texas A & M for undergrad and Texas Tech Amarillo for your doctoral because it's small and large animal and offers a variety of opportunities and experience.

In Oregon when you took a wrong turn and wound up at Diamond Lake did you not record that section? Your vlog skips from Diamond Lake to Maiden Peak Shelter, which is 50 or so miles north of Mt. Thielsen. Diamond Peak and Shelter Cove Resort are on that stretch between Hwy 138 and Hwy 58.
