This Loss is on coach Whitt. Those 1st two possessions forced us out of our identity the rest of the game. Always go for points early. You put too much pressure on a freshman QB and the defense to play out of the game plan.

I love how Noah changes the play at the line of scrimmage, taking several seconds to do so as he lets the other players adjust, and then he throws the strike to Burnett in stride in the back of the end zone. Utah media is not giving Arizona much credit. Accordingly to most analysis I have read/watched from Utah media, it is all about how the Utah Juggernaut just beat itself. But I was very impressed with Arizona. They played a great game. They have a bunch of really good athletes. Utah didn't give the game away. Arizona came in and beat them up.

Utes could still run the table, win Big12 title game, and then get in playoffs. Wilson threw it very well, until crunch time. The Utah running was just not as good. Coach Whittingham should have stuck to the physical run game, and taken the points. I don't know if Rising would have made a difference. Arizona was surprisingly up to the physicality.

Stop blaming Cam Rising's absence for everything. Utah has NEVER been championship good. I picked Kansas State to win the Big 12 in the preseason because I knew this Utah team was overrated once again. Ohio State would blow them out by four touchdowns. Isaac Wilson was the #2 overall prospect in Utah and a 4-star recruit, and he couldn't do anything. Utah has more problems than just the QB situation, which is why they are fraudulent.... and always will be...

Arizona's defense played their best game in over the 4 years I have been watching them. It was actually a pretty dominant game by Arizona on both sides of the ball against Utah's young (Freshman) QB. No excuses though, Arizona's Fafita almost beat Washington with Penix last year in his first start as a Freshman and won 7 in a row as a Freshman. Tacario Davis (CB) showed why his is a potential day one draft pick. He was amazing this game.

If I'm being 100 percent honest here, I think The Utes were a "bit" cocky going into this game. How could they not be? The Top 10 Utes, the favorites to win The Big 12, after dark, in Salt Lake City, playing Arizona? A team that got clobbered by Kansas State, who got clobbered by the TDS? Total walk in the park. Well, clealy not so much. As a BYU fan, beyond seeing our rivals getting served a slice of humble pie, I think this is good for BYU because at 5-0, they could have been prone to fall into the same trap 2 weeks from now. This was a nice wake up call for BYU, a reminder that this Arizona team is clearly still capable of coming to Provo and beating us. I don't think they'll now be able to sneak up on BYU the same way. This now has BYU's full attention. Get ready boys, in 2 weeks we got a dogfight on our hands.

Wilson doesnt have the reads yet. Bad decision on not getting points early. But throw after throw is behind or bad position for the receiver to make a play on it. Wilson doesn't have that down yet and is still super new looking compared to other qbs. It's gonna take time. But coaching hurt the team most. Wilson had spurts of goodness but coaching was awful in play calling.
