Trump had over 500 miles of "wall" (more like a fence, actually) built. Mexico paid for soldiers to be stationed along the border to keep people from coming. So, the Mexicans did not pay for the wall to be built but they helped reduce the number of people coming into the US. Kari explained the problem with the "bipartisan" (2-3 Republicans?😂) bill. It would codify 5000 illegal migrants per day or a little less than 2 million of them per year. It would have also increased the number of agents to help process those illegals faster and perhaps catch more fentanyl coming into the country. Finally, it would have made it possible for all the illegals in the country to be put on a course to citizenship. That is about 20 million undocumented people.
