Having watched the film, the biggest problem is the runtime and Arjun Kapoor's performance, he has absolutely no expressions at all, Sanju baba and kriti have done quality work. But do go and watch the movie, you won't be disappointed.

I agree both of u, sanjay dutt is an actor who can easily acquire dialects like rajasthani or even afghani, but his character is not that strongly written, even arjun's character, what actually is lacking in panipat is 1) dialogues 2) d characters need to be really strong to feel their impact, even if d character appears for a short time & for this, most of d actors go vain

Apart from Sanjays acting skills the way he was trying to depict the abdali during the interview as the hero for his people is not surprising. This very abdali looted north of India so many times, women were raped and kids were carried as slaves and he still thinks he was not wrong from his point of view...I think bollywood walas still need to realize who they are catering to Indian audiences or rest of the neighborhood countries...

Do these guys understand the meaning of the word "Authentic"? I don't have problem with the movie and wish them success. But, please don't use the word "Authentic" when you are showing Bajirao, Sadashivrao Bhau, and Parvatibai dancing. People (both men and women) from royal families never danced and that too in public. Just use the word "Entertainment".

I'm from Afghanistan and I request Indians that please stop calling Ahmad Shah Abdali a villain. You should know the difference between a villain and an Emperor/King. Ahmad Shah Abdali was a great Emperor! He had an empire! You can google about him and his empire! 🇦🇫🗡👑 He won the Third Battle of Panipat. I fully understand that you Indians are patriots and it is hard for you to accept your defeat, but it is the BITTER TRUTH. Please don't try to make excuses like: we lost the war because of cold weather, because of betrayal, long journey, hunger, thirst etc... It is not about nepotism. If the movie is big budget and big scale movie, the movie casting is so important. Arjun kapoor and Kirti sanon give so poor poor performance so the panipat film didn't do well. Public are smart now days. When the actors didn't give good performance no one go to theatre to waste the money and time. This is mean reason. It is not about nepotism. Because of wrong casting and poor poor performance.

Indian/Bollywood logic 101: Mughal and Afghan Emporers were bad because they are ruthless in battlefield and won every war. But Rajput and Marathas are the real hero because they were giving and benevolent towards the opponents often resulting in them getting killed and losing wars. Bollywood logic 102: Khilji defeated the Mongols (the most feared empire on Earth) thrice, but had to revert to cheating to beat some amateur Rajput king. The way Bollywood is showing Rajput and Maratha losers, Imagine only if these Mughal and Afghan Kings were Hindu, Akbar would be shown as God of Thunder and Khilji would be shown as God of War
