As I like to play the Switch version as well as a kind of building game. And it only has the original building system. As they do not bother to update it.

If you’re playing on switch or your phone, place the pillars and fence foundations down first before you put up the walls for the interior of the build, otherwise you’re not going to be able to add the pillars once the walls go up. I had to demolish all the things i put up to get it to work.

Great Build, But it is so hard to place the stone triangle foundations.. and many pillars are obstructured

With the first stage of placing the 6 triangle foundations, also craft 2 wooden ceilings, place the ceilings so the middle of them line up with a seam in the first 6 triangle foundations and place those stone foundations on the seam of the ceilings, then pick up the ceilings and repeat 5 more times, then place the next 6 square foundations and next 6 triangle foundations and place the stone railing foundations down BEFORE you place any walls ON the square foundation sides only, then the pillars on either side of the foundations, then the walls on the stone railing foundations on the snap point that is on the outside of the railings when placing walls down while standing on the foundations themselves. This clears up the obstruction in the first couple steps, if you can't or don't know how to change settings. I hope someone finds use for this comment 😊

Are there mods used on these? So many of the snap points do not work. It's very frustrating when you spend time and resources to get to a point you can't get past due to snaps being red.

Not sure if my game is glitched but placing any walls before pillars does not seem to work. As well as the sloped wall right and left before steps. Lots of destroying and rebuilding on my end after following this.

With the next couple steps (placing middle ring of walls, pillars and large stone walls) as with before, you will need to place pillars before placing walls, so place the 12 pillars down first, doesn't matter if that is done before or after placing the ceilings. Then place your inner ring of stone walls/door frame. I used an argy to get onto the roof after this step, so having a flyer makes this easier if you are on a public server or can't change the settings. Place 4 pillars down on top of the other pillars from the previous step and place your first row of large stone walls. Edit 1: I then placed my stone staircase as I deviated from the video a bit and didn't make it as tall so in the future I might be able to add another layer to store more flyers, but if you also place your stone staircase at this point, you will be able to access the top of the pillars to place 4 more pillars on each column, then place the second row of large stone walls Edit 2: Please place your outside stair cases on the roof first BEFORE placing your spiral staircases, as one of mine was obstructing the normal staircase from being placed on the roof

Love the build man. Currently building it right now but I’ve hit a snag. Early on when you start to put the Fence Foundations down in the middle room and they wouldn’t snap. For me, why would the object be green but won’t place? Are the foundations necessary or is there another way around this.

Im at 15:45 were you have to cover the empty triangle shaped corners with wood triangle ceilings I just can't seem to get the angle I tried every position possible can someone please help???? Im so close to being done too

Simplest solution if you're on Xbox and having issues with the very first stone pillars, place down the pillars after the fence foundations and then put up the walls. Edit:save yourself the frustration, put down all of the pillars before any walls 😂
