They shoulda just left it the same as ase😂😂 the asa ai is absolute garbage, I can stand there perfectly still and 80% of creatures can't even hit me they just run circles😂😂

idk dude how they improved anything but now dinos cant even follow u in a straight line but get stuck on air and have to go around it

you don't need traps the dino AI is broken, they just stand there and take the arrows

New sub....I use a trap with two stone foundations and between foundations two cellar doors with a stone stair on each foundation. The trap works for most things up to a yuty. I used it for bary's, theri's, and megatheriums. Rex and spinos you need a large cellar door, two walls and two half walls. The trap is completely reusable since you don't need a bear trap and it works with the new ai.

The gaps on the side of each foundation, or the foundation themselves stop the dinos from getting back out?

Duno, dino ai seems to be wtf atm, most of them have just been standing still for the first 3 or 4 tranqs... then they run away for 2 tranks then slow walk back toward me until asleep... very good job, wc

How did they make this game worse. Ive watched friends play and predators just stand there looking at players half the time and some even when attacked just run off. The ones that do activate and attack seem to run around the player like they're over excited.

I've been using 8 regular doorways and 4 ceilings/foundations to tame shit. Just sit in your own box. Wait for them to start to run then chase.

Not sure why they keep trying to make the ai smarter like they wouldn’t actually run into traps in real life 😂 “I see that down there I know what you got planned for me” 😂😂😂

I dont use trap for any dino, they até só stupid, they Just stand there and take ALL the shoots, If wildcard pretend tô be Dinos be smart they até dar away from that..... Because ALL Dinos AI até dumb

Honestly, I don't like these traps, although they are interesting, they are not part of the game, what is part of it are the bear traps and their ability to run to get away while shooting... Now that's exciting... How fun is it to put the animal in traps to tame? The really cool thing is to go without traps and use bear traps as much as possible, this is the most fun! Kisses

Yes i agree! My 8 yo can tame gigas without stupid traps. It’s hilarious because on official all the “alphas” have to use traps to tame anything

@@jeromeespiritu9461yeah by naturally having the giga get stuck somewhere. A natural trap, or using a flying creature and floating just out of bite range… a technical trap. He’s not shooting and running away from a giga

the human species is a weak one but they have a better Brain than all the other species on the planet. So they used traps from the moment they found out how to build them. I love it to invent new ways to catch dinos. The things that are out of place would be all the high tech stuff, like rifles, shotguns, rocket launchers etc. But this is the Ark - and the human species in this game is far "evolved". what idiot would risk his life if he knows how to have an easier time.

Of course taming traps are part of the game. The game is about evolving, being creative and innovative. Running around and shooting things with arrows like a caveman is the opposite of that. Being prepared and planning and problem solving is what Ark is about
