Yeah, spawning a boss won’t give you tekgrams. The best thing to do would be to put all your current stuff in storage, go to the island, super buff and cheat all you characters and kill the bosses, unlock the engrams, then go back to Extinction once you have em all

there’s a level of complication there that I think prohibits them actually pulling it off, considering we’ve yet to even see them attempt to whistle passive+follow to try and get an otherwise doomed dino to safety

The boss fights are triggered by code when you defeat the boss native to that world. You can try to beat all the "force spawns" but unfortunately won't do any good. There is an unlock engrams code that will force the engrams to unlock when you hit lvl 100. You will need a way to generate element though. It's a requirement to make the tech gear. One other note: When you defeat the boss you not only get access to make it but you have to beat that boss to be able to WEAR it as well. All those in attendance will also gain the same rewards.

Each boss unlocks different TEK items, and each boss as three difficulties, with the "best" stuff often with the hardest level of boss. I honestly don't blame you for using Admin to spawn in old bosses, Ark has always felt flawed in that certain content is inaccessible through normal play without spending a fortune on multiple servers. They should have just released an "ultimate" map where all content was available, including all bosses via the Obelisks.

Neebs crew, just a bit of advice from someone who has 3k hours playing ark. If you guys want tek gear you have to go back to the island to defeat all 3 bosses in addition to running the ascention instance located on top of the volcano inside the mouth of it.

@@nishbrown getting to level 100 isn't horrible. We all have our ways of doing it. Like building rafts at an early level was the way i used to always get a quick junp in levels. But stuff like summoning and fighting a boss on this map or getting tek gear doesn't come as quick.

When you fight a boss you spawned, you don’t get tekgrams. They are only given if you beat them in their respective arena, so on extinction, you have to kill the Titans in their biomes

I love the begining animation so kudos to Ada or whoever did it. Get all the props. But it also points out. THAT YOU KNOW NOTHING OF THE STORY AND ITS SOO GOOD! hopefully this makes it to commenting on comments so if people will like it so they at least see this.. Playing the island and beating final boss then extinction will show cutscenes of the game and all explorer notes from it also would help you guys in your own story (excluding the free maps center and rag) please consider it I think it will help look outstanding for you guys in the long run

Element dust is abundant on extinction. It takes 1000 for one element, but its no worse a grind than other stuff like pearls or obsidian.

@Neebs Gaming loved watching this video lol; to be honest, you could easily get Tek Gear and Tek Blueprints from Orbital Supply Drops; you'd need to do higher tier (yellow, red, purple) but the rewards are worth it with the right tames; I would use Velonasaurs, Yutyrannus, and Enforcers to defend and I'd set a perimeter to protect the OSD love the series; one question I do want to ask; do you think you'll ever return to the Aberration series to finish up AFTER you finish Extinction?

This was because they were doofy, not the game. They said in CoC they thought they saved the characters, but I'd bet they only saved the character in the creation screen, not uploaded them to the obelisk.

Joseph Haynes I have done both and more times than not I lose my transferred player from moving them from map to map not only my character but many of my items and creatures so from losing a character with tek engrams i can understand how annoying it is

they didnt lose anything. the fans wanted them to use fresh level 0 characters for extinction because they wanted to see the grind from the start again as they start fresh with no engrams or levels and they listened instead of coming in with their level 100 characters that have already beaten previous bosses on rag and scorched.
