I wish they would go back and finish Ark 1 before working on Ark 2. Primitive+ emphasized the primitive and tribal nature of Ark, and didn't allow any tek. The best tribes on a server were the ones who had large communities with creative defences and base placement. When raiding, you'd be fighting against players and dinosaurs, not plants and turrets. Unfortunately it barely works because the devs abandoned it a while back.

This is it... it’s really over... I remember the joy and amazement and curiosity I had every single time we got a new creature spotlight, tlc and map update. Things got crazy when we started getting dlcs for the game I didn’t care what they release if I saw something new in the store under arks name it was an instant buy! I remember the sadness I got every dlc thinking it was their last, and the absurd amount joy everyone I found out they had more coming. Throughout all the years it’s been amazing watching this game evolve. All the sadness happiness, anger, fear and excitement all me, my brothers, friends and family felt while playing this game, it will truly be missed. Please, in ark 2, have a map like scorched, but the opposite. Hear me out. Frost Globe: you wake up on an earth that has been frozen, you are cold and lakes have been frozen as well except for some broken ice. There are underwater caves, ice caves with icicles that can fall and many more awaits, there could even be a frozen kingdom, who knows?. There could be new dinos: maybe a polar bear, they could add the frost titan, maybe the boss could be fenrir from Norse mythology. There is a lot of potential. Please like so wildcard may see this

From what i heard, its cause they wanted to cast an actual australian. I agree its not the same without the cheery, peppy sounding og helena /: but hey cant be too harsh, we did finally get the DLC

They changed the voice of helena in the ending of extinction too... Well... She lacks emotions. The old one[Amber] Made helena sound like she was real happy to see ARKS finally coming down to earth. New one [Maddeline] Just sounds like "Ok then. You saved Earth". She does not seem happy that humanity was saved. They changed genesis part 1 helena too. And she does not fit into that script that is full of jokes. Genesis part 1 helena is not a big problem but they should really change back the voice of the extinction ending.
