Almost every design I try to do from your channel, I can’t. I just had to pick the one part of the map with the most uneven surfaces....but being an architecture student I used these constraints to create different versions based off your designs! Constraints really does drive creativity.

To build on uneven land, use pillars instead of foundations. It helps. They act like foundations and you just put a ceiling on top to act as a floor.

Since walling off Weathertop, I have been scouting the map for other mesa/plateau areas. If it's high and has cliffs on 3 sides, its getting a wall. Creating safe zones with houses like this in them to use as remote operating locations for taming, resource or drop runs, and respawn points. Perfect. SP mode. Own the Ark.

There really aren't very many flat places on the official maps. That's why a lot of builders use unofficial (or semi-official or whatever you want to call them) maps like The Center or Valguero for builds.

What's the benefit of using Fence Foundations? Can't Walls and railings be placed without them? - Genuine question, as I never use them unless i'm creating a perimeter wall

Good question fence foundations gone you a second snap point on either side of the the foundation also allows you to place double walls like in this video

Cant get the wood walls under the greenhouse walls to snap to the fence foundation. When building the fence foundations, they use the foundation edge snap point, so I don't get the option to snap 2 walls back to back (4:10). Been fiddling with it for several hours now. Not a very beginner friendly build.

It is found when you kill the dragon, the boss of the red obelisk in ark Island. Dont go for it now, once you get some rexes and breed (put Male and female rexes together and turn breeding on, put heat around the egg so it is a good temperature and cuddle the baby) them. An alternative is the Broodmother of the green obelisk (Big spider) and the Big gorilla (I forgot it's true name) of the blue obelisk. You could also put an alpha rex skull (a red, glowing rex). Hope this helps! Also, tip: spawn in the south, as this gives less scary dinos (though a big frilled one called a spino might come, then RUN.) A good place to put a campfire is a cliff next to a place called the footpaw (see in the inventory) there should be a little platform on the right of the cliff, perfect for a sleeping bag, campfire and storage. Happy exploring!

I don't get it. I'm just trying to build a thatch house. And can't fit through the regular door frame. Even without door. How to raise the door height? House is two walls high. So there is a wall on top of the door frame. But it's hard to get through it.
