Thanks for the upload, here is my version of the house. kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y4qWaZaXg5ajhZo followed the tutorial but added a front porch on the side to put a gas grill, changed the two double doors in the back to a dino gate and put irrigated crop plots in place of the raptor stables.

I made 80% of his builds on Ragnarok private session so I can film them and show them off(of course, crediting him) and I accidentally deleted the save. Rolled back, had only half the buildings so I got mad and quit playing for a month. Just got back, lol

@@danagay5135 Yes. I'd suggest making at least the foundations and bottom floor walls out of stone so an aggro'd Bronto or Trike doesn't break everything. Still the safest place on the map if you can get there without getting ganked by sharks or leeds, and there are silica pearls & trilobytes all over the place once you get your diving gear.

@@danagay5135 Oh, it just occurred to me to mention this, the coding for South Haven has this interesting little nugget about there ALWAYS being four Bronto's in the area at all times, so once you get strong enough to take one out, you can just keep farming them as much and as often as you like. It's a great way to power-level a Rex, a Yuty or an Allosaur pack and you can quickly stock up on Prime Meat and Hide at the same time (Prime Meat lasts longer in a Tame's inventory than it does in yours, hint hint).

@@danagay5135 You can turn a raft into a tame ferry. 8 foundations (3x2 then one more each on either side of the rudder), one or two walls tall, then lay ceilings and six ramps angled toward the ground. Set up railings instead of walls on the top's back and sides so you can still see where you're going without having to worry about dropping your tames in the water.

Not mine. Confusing pyramid with low profile and wide field of fire for turrets. Designed to be the most annoying time wasting monstrosity on the planet. My entire philosophy is to waste an attackers time and make them rage quit. Using force or loads of turrets is an enjoyable challenge to raiders. If you want them to go away use bear traps everywhere, make things that look like vault rooms that are empty, put weak thatch rooms designed to break and release harasser dinos. Use wooden ladders and walkways so they break the access walkways while blasting in. Store all of your good stuff in a random kelp wad at the bottom of the ocean. No rewards for raiders. Works like a charm. Worth it for the lols too.

Hmm, trying to do the fence. After 2 snaps, the 3rd says it need foundation support. So can only snap 2 then it becomes red :/

Placing a fence foundation straight off of the last placed fence support allows you to continue placing them. - Ran into this issue as well.

the minimum settings are VERY low... only high requirement is the storage (pref an SSD) with low settings you can run it on a potato but it of course won't be as pretty but it will still be wicked fun

This is a fantastic tutorial. The only thing I'd add to it is that on PC the key to rotate between positions (this is particularly important for the fence placements) is the 'q' key, not the 'e' key. The 'e' will flip it back and forth front to back.

Little tip for those of us using Structures Plus to make this build: The fence supports are a little wonky with where you can place walls and doorframes, but I found a little solution to that: Use railings. When you are getting ready to place the doorframes and walls on the outer fences, use railings to lock in where they should be. Otherwise, you'll have some ugly gaps to deal with.

This is big for a real Ark survivor. I've been playing a very long time and this is NOT a beginner house. This is a waste of materials to early in the game. This is something you build at intermediate level when you have materials to spare and have at least 3 tribe members. When you work for all your materials you'll end up spending to much time harvesting materials when ppl should be building a small hut and taming a parasaur or pt to help them get more materials and get drops. (Which you can find stone and metal walls blueprints in drops) your teaching ppl to waste their time for days instead of getting important stuff started that they should be focusing on.

N. Sko I could go to single player right now on 1x, and have it built within a few hours. Sounds like you just need to get better at the game. A good level, early game PT will take quite a bit, as you won’t have kibble. Spike wall it off so it’s protected, go grind mats for the house and check on PT to feed it narcoberries. (Early game) Kill a couple Dino’s for the tame.. This shit is easy.

N. Sko The ONLY thing people should REALLY be focusing on in PVP early game, is just grinding mats and pumping out foundations to level up super quick. I can get to level 40 by MYSELF in a half an hour or less on Rag. 5-10 minutes to get to level 50-60 on the Island if I do a note run... Like I said, this shit is easy. It’s a grindy game, if you’re going to play, especially PVP, you need to grind hard, and fast.

nathaniel benway You do realize not everyone plays pvp right lol? I own my own server and play with friends, wouldn’t catch me in a million years playing pvp public servers. This channels buildings are awesome for people who play like I do.
