ARK: How to Build a Cosy Dwarven House - Tutorial

In this ark survival evolved build tutorial I show you how to build a cozy Dwarven house on official settings great for maps with nordic viking themes like Fjordur, Valguero & Ragnarok but perfect for the Medieval Dwarven themed map Svartalfhiem. It was inspired by the Dwarven architecture of Middle Earth from the Lord of the Rings, Dungeons and Dragons, Warhammer & World of Warcraft.
This dwarven cottage will work great in your ark towns & villages because it is fairly small and easy to replicate. No mods used for the build so it can be built on, playstation, xbox, switch and pc. This ark build will also be able to be built on ARK Survival Ascended ( ASA ) once it releases.

Playing ASA (Xbox) been able to work around everything so far EXCEPT the ceiling in the middle of the walls on top at 8:04…. Can’t get it to place in the center. Anybody ASA got a fix ?

how to snap triangle to the ceiling

9:35 I tried to get the roofs to angle upwards, but it seems like that’s not even an option. Is there a hidden trick to it?

For xbox press RB, PS R1 and PC is Q to cycle the snap points, if that doesn't work your going to have to angle your camera differently to place it. Also make sure you didn't accidentally snap a triangle roof under neath otherwise it will block the other snap point, this actually happens quite often too so double check.

@@SypherSam I thought about that. But I even tried it without the triangle ceiling on, even used extra sloped walls to encourage the angle. Still nothing. I used the Rb too. All it cycled through was horizontal positions.

@@iaepatus8328 make sure to place the triangle ceilings that are pointing upwards first (the lower ones) if you place the higher ones first that can also block snap points. When placing triangle roofs always start from the bottom and work your way up.

Really? I thought it was pretty straight forward, the parts that are more complicated/have more snap points are explained and the more obvious parts you just have to follow along. I didn't add the aerial shots because of the size of the built But yeah I may have to start a liitle bit away from the side so you can see what side i'm coming from. I'll do it in the next video.

@Sypher Sam it wasn't that confusing, I built it just fine but I just felt there were too many jump cuts and not enough reference shots like in your other builds like the elven house
