Ben Schindler not even gonna lie, my first time playing I just kept getting killed by a sarco upon each respsawn. And my first time playing scorched earth different terror birds kept killing me instantly and I kept trying to run (absolutely useless) but it never works (wow how surprising) seems you can’t outrun a fucking emu on steroids

in all honesty, i got ARK when the game released because i love Dinos and survival games, but at first the crocked graphics hurt my eyes so bad and the game was just so boring to me that i just erased all the game files, i came across your videos not long ago and to be more specific with this one, i love it, i cant get enough, it made me download the game again and buy scorched earth, i've watch this video like 5 times and every time it's so refreshing and makes me smile, maybe 5 times doesn't sound like much but for a full time job and a family to care it is quite the achievement for me, i don't spect you to read this, but if you do, thank you, thank you sincerely.

I solved the Morella problem by building a double-decker adobe barn up against a big, unharvestable sandstone rock, leaving a small opening that it could squeeze thru, doesn't even need a gate. Only when you stand next to the rock, can you see the opening. I have never had it attacked. Of course, this trick really only works best on PVE, but if you are clever with your designs, any building can be hidden. Adobe is excellent camo for Scorched Earth. I just try not to disturb the surrounding area and farm the resources elsewhere. Glad you are back BTW. Also, you can craft a simple 2 potato or carrot drink recipe that fills your water up 100% with one drink. You can carry those as your water and they do not leak, plus a stack weighs less than the canteen. Bye bye leaky canteens. The one mod I got was solar panel because the constant repair of the generator SUCKED and the deep desert really has no water to speak of or crawling with sand worms. I suppose it was a "cheat", but I thought that solar on scorched made more sense than turbines.

I play on a PvP online server and honestly they really made scorched earth way easier. Back in the earlier days of ark getting resources took longer because you would get like 2 stone from I giant Boulder. Also there aren’t nearly as many dangerous dinos around spawns as before. I played scorched earth when it came out and it was so difficult

we are a tribe based out of the island and we united the server and we have multiple alpha tribes from other servers cross raiding us. we set up a council and run it like a democracy but just recently crap hit the fan. we had a crap ton of wyverns and stuff and it all reset. we were going to go to scorched but i dont think that ark is even worth the time anymore. i just wish that ps4 could have their own payed and self owned servers just for friends and a few randoms. GG Ark. anyways great vid and i hope that all of you are having a much better time and watch for cross raiders because now they are building up more and more.

If anyone wants to start on scorched earth, I recommend going to South 4, plenty of small metal noads but beware of Kaprosuchuses. Also there is water there because it is in the place called South East canyons.

Little tip too is that if you cant find bodies or veins of water, you can punch cacti to get water. Preferably with your bare hands to get more hits on the tree to get more water.

Im not done watching the video so i dont know if he said this but, If you find yourself running low on thatch try to harvest cacti. (WITH A PICKAXE). With cacti you can get food supply and the material u needed.

BEFORE YOU PURCHASE ARK: Letting you know ahead of time the servers are usually tame capped and the lag makes the game unplayable. There is no in game support so you could be wasting your money as well as your time.
